She is a Swift Suntor based on a mwb (5.4metres long) Fiat Ducato van. A rare petrol model so no nasty diesel smell. The engine size is 1998cc with a manual gearbox.
First registered 2001.
She passed her last MOT on 30th August 2023. Happy to have her re-MoTd before sale.
The mileage was 72653 at the last MOT, the only miles since was garage to home, current exact mileage shown in photo.
She has been fully serviced and maintained including any necessary welding both in the 2 years we have had her and by previous owners. I have service records going back almost 20 years.
The previous owner advised that the cambelt was replaced in 2020/21.
She has separate engine and habitation batteries.
A couple of modifications to make her easier for a shorter person to drive…the van steering wheel has been replaced with a smaller one to allow the driver’s seat to be pulled forward, fully rebalanced so steering is still light. Also, a handbrake extension fitted for easier reach. Both adaptations done professionally during garage service.
The holiday stuff….
She had a habitation check when we bought her, all was well.
Vera has a 2-burner gas hob and oven, sink and draining board with drop down cover to create work space. A fridge which can run off gas or habitation battery. Hot air heating system which is powerful enough for winter trips.
Gas bottles are included as well as the electric hook up.
She has 3 belted seats, 2 in the front and 1 behind. The front passenger seat swivels round.
She has a pull-out double berth or 2 short singles. The single seat pulls out forwards towards the passenger seat (which can swivel round), then the sofa pulls out to fill the centre aisle. That then makes a double bed sideways across the van. The sofa length is then the width of the double bed.
Lots of storage and luggage space with room for portable toilet.
2 Tables, one big enough for dining and a small mug table are included.
There are lots of opening windows, including a roof light, blinds and curtains.
There is no built-in toilet compartment but there is a Cleanwaste go anywhere portable toilet (never used) which fits in the open space inside the van or in the separate pop-up toilet tent also included (see photos).
