Mercedes Sprinter 310 CDi LWB
2.1 Litre engine, diesel, 6-speed gearbox. Great engine condition, former delivery van so always serviced and maintained and relatively low mileage for these well renowned vans. I’ve only added about 5000 miles to it since purchasing. MOT’d until June 2025. It has a couple of small dents due to its age but they’re mostly unnoticeable.
The van has a new custom conversion which has been hand built by a carpentry enthusiast. It boasts 4 good sized kitchen cupboards, a cutlery drawer and pull-out storage, top cupboards with gas struts, a wardrobe and storage cubbies. There is a considerable amount of storage above the cab, it also has a storage box that doubles as a step to the bed. It has a 20mm solid oak worktop with upstand, and an 80kg supporting hinged worktop extension. It has a swan neck tap with an under mounted full size sink which is very useful for washing up!
It has an 58 litre underslung fresh water tank and 2 separate waste tanks for the kitchen sink and shower. A 27 litre for the kitchen sink which can be emptied just behind the nearside rear wheel and a 22 litre waste water tank which empties just in front of the offside rear wheel. It has a Shurflo water pump and Fiamma expansion tank for smooth water flow from the tap. These can be accessed behind a false wall at the back of one of the kitchen cupboards.
The conversion benefits from new appliances throughout, it has a Dometic CRA050 fridge freezer conveniently located under the wardrobe. It has a Dometic-Smev FO211GT oven and grill, combined with the Thetford Topline 922 hob. There is a 5Kw diesel heater which is connected to the main fuel tank. The pump and filter can be accessed through a hatch behind the drivers seat. The 5Kw has ample power to heat the van, and the heat is retained by the van’s insulation of recycled bottle “wool” and vapour barrier. The van also benefits from extensive Dodo sound deadening and Dodo super liner heat and sound insulation, plus an insulating layer under the flooring.
The van has a brand new Bobil 10 litre electric water heater located in the garage. The heater can work from both 12v battery power and 230v mains hookup. The bathroom has a Thetford Porta Potti which can be removed when using the Lusso shower. It also features a recessed storage shelf.
It has a 2-way fan which can draw cool air in or extract hot air, it also has a rain sensor so you won’t get caught out by the weather.
The van has 2 double sockets connected to the Multiplus so can be used on battery power. One of the double sockets has 2 USB outlets and the reading light over the bed also features a USB charger. The van has spotlights throughout and also features LED lighting over the kitchen and in the garage under the bed for convenience. The garage area contains the 6kg gas bottle housed in locker, and connected to the hob and oven via a 2-stage regulator. The water heater is also located in the garage, as well as the 27 litre kitchen sink waste tank and the electrics cupboard. There is ample storage space under the bed still.
The electrical cupboard houses 2 x 125Ah TN Power AGM batteries, a 500VA Victron Multiplus inverter, shore/mains hook-up, a Victron 30A B2B charger that will charge the batteries from 20% to 100% from roughly 7 hours of driving. It also has a Victron Smart Shunt and Victron Battery Protect which keeps everything running smoothly when hooked up or on the road. Charge is provided also by 2 x Victron 140W rigid solar panels and a Victron SmartSolar. There are 2 x consumer units also in the cupboard. The van also has a reversing camera.
A lot of thought and effort has been put in to make the van cosy and comfortable and it has entirely custom-made soft furnishings. The headboard is handmade and upholstered in super soft fabric, as are the dining area seats. There are custom curtains throughout the van. The dining area has a Sequoia removable table with solid oak top, which neatly stores behind the front dining seat. There is also a a good size doormat in the footwell to help keep the van clean and tidy on the road.
Fixed sideways bed at back. We made a particular effort to keep the bed as long as possible at the back so have added a sleep pod from Evo Motion Design on the drivers side plus the passenger side is recessed to maximise the bed length. Width is about 120cm and length is about 195cm. I’m over 6’ tall and sleep comfortably in the van.
