The conversion:
The van was professionally converted to the highest standard only last year and has been fully kitted out for year-round family holidays.
Totally off-grid:
2x100W monocrystalline solar panels
Top of the range Victron Energy MPPT Bluetooth enables solar controller. This allows you to start charging the batteries from the moment the sun rises.
Victron battery charger, charges batteries and runs 12v electrics when connected to the 240v External hook up.
2x120ah AGM high-performance leisure batteries.

A pure sine wave inverter can be provided with the sale if wanted but is not currently connected.
Split charging to charge batteries whilst driving.
Refillable LPG gas system. Last summer typical swappable gas cylinders used in most campervans were almost impossible to get hold of and many people were struggling to find a way to cook. This is never a problem in this van as the LPG can simply be refilled at any fuel station with an LPG pump (also known as Auto Gas). Nearly all motorway service stations have one. NO complicated switching of gas cylinders. Itβs also very cheap.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is handcrafted with beautiful wooden countertops. It has:

The sink is supplied by a 25L water tank is accessed from the outside for ease of filling via the inlet funnel or a hosepipe. the wastewater is also collected here for ease of emptying.
Bathroom:
A separate marine wooded hand-finished shower room.
Comes with a user-friendly Thetford flushable portable toilet. No need to worry about finding facilities on a campsite or while on the road. This fully sealable toilet is odour free and easy to empty.
Portable shower unit, for use indoors or out. Ideal if the beach if you need to rinse yourself off before going into the van. Can also be used to wash down your bike or dog etc.
The shower water can be solar heated or topped off with hot water from the kettle.
Heating/ Cooling:
There is air conditioning with vents throughout the van. This can be absolutely invaluable on a hot sunny day.
A thermostatically controlled diesel heater to keep you warm day or night. This can be set to the desired temperature before you go to bed at night and it will keep you warm and cosy all night long.

As previously mentioned there is a family seating area to the front of the van with 4 seats around a central table. A tablet is provided, fixed to the front headrest. This can be used to monitor solar charging and battery draw. Itβs also great for kids in the back to watch Netflix on a long journey.
This could also be used as an office area with 100w PD USB-C under the desk to charge and power compatible laptops and fast charge mobile phones.
To the rear, there is a handcrafted dressing table with a polished porthole mirror. There is storage underneath (large enough for a hand luggage size case) and storage jars fitted under the oak shelf to keep your space organised.
There is a good size wardrobe for hanging your clothes, 2 deep soft close draws under the bed, and a wall unit for extra storage.
A hidden compartment under the wardrobe holds a safe for your valuables.
There is also loads of storage space under the bed for your cases and other bulky items. Accessible from the rear doors there is plenty of room in the rear garage for bicycles or even kayaks.
The van is perfect for every kind of trip from a long weekend or even to take your home on the road for months at a time.
The van also meets all requirements to be hired out here on Quirky Campers. Over time it could even pay for itself when youβre not using it.
DVLA registration:
The DVLA body type is unchanged from βminibusβ and does not need to be changed unless you want to. I have had absolutely no problem with insurance. If you do wish to change the body type to campervan then it meets ALL interior requirements to do so. You just need to add an awning and some stickers to make it meet the external requirements. Or choose to keep it stealth.
4x Belted seats. The two front seats can swivel round to make a seating area around the table with the two rear seats. Perfect for eating or playing together of an evening.
A fixed double bed to the rear with an extremely comfortable memory foam matress. Bedding is also supplied.
Fixed single bed underneath suitable for a child.
A fourth childβs bed can be made by lowering the front table between the front driverβs seat (rotated) and the rear passenger seats with the addition of foam blocks (not included).
