BEAUTIFUL HIGH SPEC. OFF GRID RELAY

We are reluctantly selling our much-loved converted campervan. We bought the van in summer 2020 and spent the best part of a year converting it. We’ve had many amazing trips around the UK and Europe, but the time has come to let someone else have their own adventures!

The van is completely off-grid with a highly capable electrical system. The 200Ah total capacity lithium batteries are lightweight and provide ample power. They are charged via solar panels on the roof, a DC-to-DC charger that charges off the van’s alternator and by an external 240V hook up point that is rarely required. A Victron inverter powers 240V electrical items including a kettle and hairdryer that see use every day! There are also multiple USB charging points located throughout the van.

The van has a ‘stealthy’ appearance due to the tinted side and rear windows blending into the black of the van allowing for uninterrupted overnight stays in wild camping spots. It is also winterised and ready for trips in cold temperatures as it has heating and hot water, is fully insulated and has internal fresh and grey water tanks that prevent freezing.

The kitchen area contains a two-burner gas hob, a large sink, a modern kitchen tap, soap dispenser and a 50L fridge/freezer with enough bench space to prep meals. There is also an opening hatch in the kitchen area allowing for views through the front windows of the van and access in an emergency. A Maxxair fan and a side door opening window allow plenty of ventilation when cooking.

The bathroom contains a shower that uses a low flow shower head to save water in conjunction with a thermostatic shower mixer for adjusting temperature. It also contains a Thetford Porta Poti toilet. There is an extraction fan for ventilation, hooks for towels, a storage area for toiletries and an extendable washing line for drying clothes. The bathroom has a heating vent leading directly into it that allows it to function as a drying room. Grey water from the drain is pumped via a wastewater pump into the internal grey water tank.

The vans dining area allows comfortable seating opposite one another which is perfect for playing a game of cards! This is a rarity in most vans with a fixed bed and shower and is due to the unique layout of our van. The table is mounted on a Lagun style mount allowing it to be height adjusted and swivels away compactly allowing for more space when not in use. Between the two seats is a door into the garage allowing access to anything stored there from inside the van. There is also a smaller hatch leading into a laundry bag allowing laundry to be easily stored away in the garage. There is scope to turn the seating area into another bed as we made the cushions to the correct width to span the entire width of the van – a support piece to span the gap would need to be made to allow this to happen.

The van has a comfortable fixed bed that uses a standard double size mattress. Cutouts into the walls allow the full bed length to be achieved and ensure a great night’s sleep even if you’re on the taller side! There are USB charging points on either side of the bed and LED strip lights that give a nice glow for reading at night. A skylight above the bed gives views of the stars and provides a nice breeze for sleeping especially when used alongside the Maxxair fan. A projector can be mounted on the ceiling and directed at a screen to allow movies to be watched from bed!

The garage area under the bed houses the main electrics and provides ample storage for larger items and equipment. It has bike attachment points to allow two bikes to be safely stored away with their front wheels removed. A heating vent is directed into the garage to ensure it remains warm and curtains obscure any view into the garage area when the rear doors are open.

The campervan has ample storage with a floor to ceiling cupboard next to the bathroom, overhead cabinets with self-holding doors above the fridge and bed, a large storage space above the cab which is accessed through a door above the main kitchen area, under seat storage below the larger bench seat and numerous shelves to hold smaller items, not to mention the entire garage area!

The van comes with a large tarp style awning made by Stiches + Steel that provides lots of shade or protection from the rain with an outside LED strip fitted above the sliding door that provides plenty of light at night. There is a quick connect gas hook up point located underneath the van that allows gas BBQs or pizza ovens to be supplied with gas from the main 20kg undermounted LPG tank.

The van will come with all manuals for purchased items and a self-written manual covering how all the systems work.
