Plenty of storage space under the bed and in the bench seat. Lots of shelf space too.
Built in cubicle for a compost toilet box, this isn’t included in the sale.
Soft furnishings also not included in the sale. The bed space is 1.2m width and 2m length. Great for tall folks. Fine for one person or a cozy couple!
The photos show how it has been in various stages of our use over the last two years. It will be sold without the decor and furnishings so is bare at the moment.
There is some repair work required, see details below and in last photos.
Sad to sell but we needed to upgrade to a bigger luton to fit the kiddos in.
What it has:
Solar array for off grid living. Spot lights and USB chargers.
Gas bottle fitted underneath for hot water boiler.
Diesel heater with remote control.
Waste water crate fitted under the vehicle with easy emptying.
Large water bottle fitted in the kitchen cupboard going straight to the sink.
Rear view camera.
What it needs:
Some condensation which collects in the ceiling, this can be managed with air flow but would benefit from being refitted or with extra ventilation added.
Two places where condensation affected the wood panelling. This would benefit from replacing.
A small gash to the side of the van, it hasn’t penetrated the interior but needs attention to avoid any water ingress in future.
Occasional water ingress in one area in the cab which probably needs welding.
We’ve stayed in the van on and off with these issues which don’t affect it being available for immediate use but would certainly improve the interior if they were given some attention.
The price reflects that this is a great, solid van with a unique conversion which needs some minor repairs.
This is an insulated, wood panelled conversion with kitchen, large toilet cubicle with automatic air vent, small double bed at the rear with plenty of under-bed storage and a purpose built bench seat with storage inside.
The kitchen has a hot water boiler, built in sink and large fresh water bottle attached. Grey water is collected underneath the vehicle for easy emptying. There is a gas powered hob, grill and oven with gas stored under the vehicle. The kitchen has plenty of cupboard space and shelves. The kitchen tap is on a shower hose and can be positioned outside the vehicle for use as an outdoor shower.
The toilet cubicle can fit a portable compost toilet box but this won’t be sold with the van. We used this with a box of sawdust and along with the air vent, it’s very fresh and doesn’t smell at all!
Above the bed there is a small cupboard space, a couple of book shelves and a handy pull down shelf for your mug of tea or glass of wine. Many a morning has been spent with the top half of the stable door open, lying in bed and enjoying the view with a hot drink.
Under the bed is plenty of storage and a pipe where the diesel heater can blast in hot air on cold nights. This is super effective.
There are some patches of wood panelling (shown in the last photos) which need to be replaced after an incident with a branch tearing the roof. The roof is fixed but not before there was some internal water damage caused.
The fitted bed is situated at the back of the vehicle and is 1.2m wide and 2m long. Plenty for one person and cozy for two.
It has a mattress that we can include with the sale but would benefit from a purpose made fitted mattress.
