Our van which we lovingly named ‘Wee Tillie’ has served us faithfully and well without any issues whatsoever and we are only selling as our older children wish to join us on our future travel plans abroad. VEHICLE HISTORY
First registered May 2022
Owner 1 – purchased new from Hillside Leisure and later part-exchanged it with Hillside to buy a larger vehicle.
Owner 2 – purchased by us from Hillside Leisure in Feb 2024 with approximately 6650 miles. It had a full once over prior to us taking possession of the vehicle and came with a gas and electric safety certificate, 12 months Hillside warranty and the remainder of the 3 years VW Manufacturer’s warranty. We were also given a certificate for a free habitation check before Mar 2025 (non transferrable) which although the vehicle isn’t due for one till Feb, we would however use this free check prior to finalising any sale.
We fully understand that purchasing a campervan can be a stressful time, particularly when the market can appears saturated with so many vehicles on offer and at such a conflicting range of prices for the mileage and specifications advertised. We experienced lots of anxiety purchasing ‘Wee Tillie’ and the whole process felt like a minefield. Therefore we did a lot of research and soon found out that not all campervans, regardless of the model and mileage, are created equal. There are many campervan converters out there and while many deliver sound, safe and high spec vehicles, unfortunately there are just too many who don’t. When digging deeper you soon realise that behind a high price tag lurks shoddy workmanship and poor quality materials. Having almost fallen prey to one such dealer our selves, we felt it was really important to protect ourselves in an industry that isn’t fully regulated. This was one of the main reasons we purchased from HILLSIDE LEISURE – We wanted to be 100% certain that all of the components being put into the vehicle were of the highest quality and standard and that the fitters were fully certified and experienced. Having the VW, NCC and WVTA approval, for us, meant we could sleep soundly knowing that not only was the vehicle safe and roadworthy but ultimately our investment was in safe hands too. For that reason, we are confident therefore, that having looked closely at what is out there, you will easily appreciate the quality and competitive price we are offering in this vehicle and the peace of mind purchasing it will afford you.
The passenger area provides sleeping for two adults by way of a RIB Bed while the SCA pop top roof has a froli sprung bed system and mattress offering sleeping for a further 2 adults.
