FOR SALE – my lovely ex German army ambulance.
I sourced her in Holland, had her imported and I fully registered her with the dvla as a campervan in 2018.
There is 37000 km on the clock (23000 miles) so hardly used, this is known as the million mile engine.
I’ve painted all of the chassis and under sealed everything.
Long mot, which she passes easily every time, my mechanic says she’s like she just left the factory.
She was made in 1985 so should be mot and tax exempt in the next two years.

Amazing to drive, turns on a penny but she’s old school, no power steering and no turbo, your on holiday though so there’s no need to rush!
There is also a full set of original army blackout blinds.

The inside is pretty much finished with reclaimed pitch pine floor, windows all round, a skylight, a clever pull out bed, lots of storage and kitchen cupboards made from a mix of different hardwoods with lovely vintage style handles, a great stainless steel boat cooker hob and grill, and cold running water.
I have also fitted a lovely little handmade wood burning stove on a slate hearth that keeps her toasty all year round.
There is also an original Eberspcher diesel heater which blows cold air but not hot so needs attention, not that we have ever needed it.
I’ve done most of the wiring including led lights, usb sockets, water pump etc.
However this is the unfinished bit – it’s currently all running off a large van battery.
You could add a leisure battery fitting with a 24v to 12v charger and solar panels which will probably cost about £2000.

I’m selling because I just don’t use her enough and she needs to be on the road having lots of adventures.
I love her to bits and have put a lot of time and money into her, just getting her into the country cost a small fortune and stress.
