Reasonable offers considered.
2013 Ford Transit, medium wheel base, high roof – Diesel
• MOT until 3 May 2024
• Last major service was in May 2023
• Only 82,450 miles on the clock – I’ve done under 10,000 miles since the conversion (I just didn’t get to travel in it as much as much as I would’ve liked)
• Beautiful scandi style conversion often commented as the “best van layout I’ve seen” or “the most efficient use of space”.
• Rear wheel drive
• There are parking sensors in the rear bumper that I haven’t been able to get working but I’m sure is possible. I just got used to parking without them!
• The van has had a completely refurbished engine fitted by UK Automotive LTD in Rochford in Autumn last year.
• Insured as “campervan under conversion” with Adrian Flux
Randal was a passion project converted over a year and a bit by myself and my Dad with professionals being brought in on the gas and electrics. The van is incredibly stylish, discrete from the outside (making it a good stealth camper) and comfortable while having everything you need for off grid camping adventures or even to live in full time as I did for 6 months (in London). My interior design background helped to make the most of the space with multiple people having described it as “the best layout they have seen.”
LIVING/BEDROOM AREA
A spacious, comfortable space with lots of natural light coming in from the skylight above. It has a large L shaped sofa seating area with a clever draw supported table or pop up counter height table. Birch ply cabinetry with cork floor’s throughout and pops of colour. Professionally covered foam cushions, the large ones are backed with ripstop so they can also be used outdoors. There are 2 x 240V 3 pin sockets hidden in the seat storage as well as USB plug sockets beside the bed and a 240V socket in the open shelving. Meaning the van is perfectly set up for remote working and/or charging/using any electrical devices including hair straighteners! There are 6 LED puck lights and warmer strip lighting running across the top of the cabinetry for softer evening light.
There is a 7kg gas locker under the hanging storage that feeds the cooker and the Propex Heatsource HS2000 12V LPG Gas Heating System which heats the space in next to no time, keeping you toasty and warm during the winter months. There is a carbon monoxide sensor fitted in the open shelving unit.
KITCHEN
The kitchen has a metal worktop an vintage enamel sink (cold water). The custom made kitchen cabinets provide ample storage space for food and kitchen items (1 extra large draw, tall pantry draw and a cutlery draw, and another draw for miscellaneous kitchen/cleaning items. Above the cab is all storage space with shelving in the centre to make it more functional.) There is also a small shelf and hanging storage above the kitchen unit for additional items. There are 2x 240v sockets in the kitchen. The window has stylish, custom made thermal and blackout lined curtains with elastic fasteners. There is a oven, grill and 3 hob stove giving you a full kitchen setup as well as a front opening 12v Dometic CoolMatic CRE 50 Fridge Freezer 45L.
STORAGE
In addition to the kitchen storage already mentioned, there is plenty of storage space under the seating in the living area (accessible both from inside the van and from the back) as well as a wall of storage on the sliding door wall.
ELECTRICAL SET-UP
The van has 200W solar panels and 2 x 110Ah leisure batteries allowing you to stay completely off-grid.
It also has:
– DC to DC charger 20Ah (from the alternator)
– Mains hookup (also acts as a power supply unit)
– Mains Charging

OTHER
You can see from the pictures that this really is a beautiful campervan, its got quirks but its a great home! I absolutely adore this van and am sad to be letting it go but life changes and I’m sure it will hold many adventures for it’s next owners! Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or to arrange a viewing (the van is currently located at my parents near Carmarthen).
The seating area is converted into a small double bed by slotting in the table and additional piece to complete the “L”. it is shorter than a standard bed but this was deliberate so that the kitchen can be used while the bed is up. Bed dimensions 175 x 112 cm.
