Mercedes Sprinter 310 LWB
Good low mileage sprinter. Solid vehicle and well looked after. Will service it before sale. Diesel 6 gears. Cruise control. AIR CONDITIONING!!! MOT til 8th October. Cruise control, CD player, plenty of cupholders, reversing camera. electric windows. 2 keys.
Previously used for a bespoke office furniture chap, hence low mileage and condition.
I originally specced this van to be appropriate for taking to le mans, which involves being off grid for 5 days in heat and occasionally rain. The result was it is fully functional off grid for quite a bit longer.
There is 500w of solar on the roof which powers a 220ah leisure battery. This supplies power to:
2 x MaxxAir Deluxe fans
6 down lights (5 x touch on/off, 1 x Bathroom spec which is switched)
2 x Reading lights
4x Usb sockets
2 x 12v accessory sockets
1 x Shurflo Trail King water pump (and accumulator tank)
1 x Whale 12v pump for drinking water tap
Electric fan for propex heater.
40L chest fridge
There is a well kitted out kitchen with a belfast butler sink, with copper mixer tap and an additional brass duck tap which supplies drinking water. (for instances when topping up the main tank supply with a local watersource may be non portable)
There is a 40L chest fridge under a hatch, and also a hidden seat beneath the worktop on the other side, maximising usable work surface whilst also providing a seat and an easy access for the bed.
The oven is a Voyager cooker 4500. it features 2 x gas rings a grill and an oven.
The water heater is a Truma Ultrastore 10ltr gas and electric. It runs off the gas system in the van.
There is a 100l water tank in the garage area and a 20l jerry can for the drinking tap (you can also use the 5l mineral water bottles with this) for when the main tanks water cannot be confirmed as portable.
The gas system was professionally installed by CJC camper convertors in Worcester. It is a LPG refillable system (from a garage pump) and there is a massive 22kg on board. This is great as you do not have to worry about running out!
There is a propex heater which is great for cold nights.
There is an internal shower in the shower toilet area and the pressure is great. In addition to this there is a bullfinch 6088 outside shower (fully functioning hot/cold mixer).
The toilet is a thetford c200 cassette toilet
There is a storage shelf above the cab which uses proper metal brackets and still allows for using the cab overhead shelves.
The passenger double seat is mounted on a swivel bracket supplied and fitted by CJC vans in Worcester.
There is a blackout curtain which blocks off the cab, adding nicely to the stealth look.
I have insulated the walls and floors with celotex and covered it with a vapour barrier. The only bit not done is the sliding door. I left this as I never fully decided if I wanted a window in it or whether I wanted to keep it stealth. Either way I’ll leave that for the new owner to decide and if you just want it paneling I can pass on the name of a local cnc laser cutter who can cut and groove a panel to match the rest of the walls and doors.
The garage area is great and holds walking kit and 2 pashley folding bikes (these can be sold with the van).
Standard UK double bed with proper sprung slats and a expensive john lewis mattress. (I’m 6 ft 1 so a good size proper bed was important!)
