We have recently bought a house and need the funds to renovate it, therefore (although we’re absolutely gutted) we have our lovely van Dougie for sale. We’ve been living in it full time for just over a year and it’s been one hell of an adventure. Definitely want to see him go to a good home!
I will try and give as thorough an explanation of everything below, however please feel free to ask any questions or request viewings/further photos or videos.
It’s fully ready to be moved in to either full time or as a weekend van. With enough power to be fully off grid.
Exterior:
– 300L fresh water tanks that are fitted with antifreeze technology. (Digital thermometer and on/off switch inside to choose your preferred temp)
– Waste tank (I’m unsure of the size as we had always left it open to drain as we go).
– Gage inside to tell you the levels of fresh water and waste water.
– Outside shower point with temperature control. (Shower attachment included).
– 30L underslung gas tank (gasit) with gas level gage under the sink inside.
– 3 solar panels (1kw of power – we’ve never had to hook up or ran out of power)
– 240 hook up outside if you want to hook up. This actually charges your batteries as well as giving you power then and there, unlike other motorhomes and vans where it just gives you power whilst your connected.
– WiFi antenna. Routed inside and connected to a Huawei portable wireless device. Mounted on the wall by the bed. (We had great WiFi wherever we were, you’d just need to get a simcard of your choice – we used EE)
– Water fill point with a key locking cap.
– Outside light above door. Switches by the bed and door.
– Side door with window.
– Door has a key lock and a chain lock inside.
– Carpeted door to stop condensation.
– Thick door curtain for winter warmth and privacy (can be rolled away when not in use).
Beds / Bed Area:
– King-size bed with oretopeadic mattress in the nose above the cab. Carpeted and insulated.
– Sofa bed. Custom made. Pulls out into a, slightly larger than, double bed. Large covered storage area underneath.
– Cable by the bed ready for a projector (Will be taking mine, but will leave the screen. Hooks are on the wall ready for the screen).
– Reading light in the bed area.
– Light switched by the bed if you’re feeling lazy. (Switches for the Outside, cut through and living area lights).
– USB & 24V plug points.
– Magnetic point you so you can mount your phone or tablet and watch things in bed.
– Bedside shelf with jewellery hooks.
Heating:
– Truma combi water and air heater with thermostat and control panel. The truma itself is concealed under the sofa and is also routed to the bathroom so you can dry wetsuits or towels etc. Hot water in 6 minutes. Theres a thermometer that you can place where ever you like to make sure all areas are reaching your preferred temperature.
Heating can also be set on a timer.
– Gas drop out beside Truma unit.
Living area:

– Hooks for a projector screen (can be removed if not wanted).
Kitchen Area:
– Sink with plug and Flexi tap.
– Under sink (see photo): Storage. Gas gage. Fresh and waste water gage. Battery monitor. Invertor remote. Water pump isolator. Fresh water freeze control switch and thermostat. Drawer magnet lock switch (we never installed the magnets on the drawers and used baby locks, we will knock off the cost of installing the magnet locks).
– Water filter system for sediment, chlorine and charcoal. Meaning you could fill up from a pond and it’d be safe to drink and shower in.
