Van was originally a works van. Bought in May 2021, converted by Rubber Tramps (now Bhode Vans) in Jan 2022. I have used it to travel around the UK and France on one occasion. The van has been perfect but cannot afford to run on student budget. Van has so much character and adventures left in it.
Van has Thetford Hob (gas), fiamma vent and maxxfan, truma combi water and gas heater, solar panels, USB charging ports and, lights, large cupboards and pull out drawer, water tank, outdoor attachable shower head. U shaped seating has table which drops down to form a large king size bed. Gas sign off completed.
Cushions for bed/sofas made by myself using water resistant fabric so that they do not get mouldy, mattress is memory foam. Blinds also made by myself.
Van has had a new battery since I have had it, plus it has recently had 2 new tyres, new shock absorber, lower ball joint and auxiliary belt, engine oil and filter change.
During a winter when I did not use the van I did not ventilate it and there is slight stains to a section of the interior wood above cabin from condensation. This has been treated and since keeping the van ventilated (maxxfan has a rain cover, so leaving this open through winter for air circulation) has solved the problem and has not reoccurred.
