Recent ignition hesitation so new ignition control module, new coil, new distributor now starts first time. Less than 200 miles on 4 new Nexen tyres. New fuel pump.
New VanWurks 3/4 rock and roll bed with matching upholstery to maroon van. Only used for about 3 weeks. We are now in our late 70s so she has declared our camping days as over. Wooden cupboards installed down one side at height to match bed so that with additional foam cushions provides full width sleeping. Floor, sides and roof including high top Dodo insulated. Ladder leads to upper sleeping area with hatch extending length to 1.8m realistically for youngsters; our grandchildren love it. Now registered as a motorhome. Without a kitchen nor toilet, I guess strictly speaking it would be called a dayvan. I use the low cupboards as a base for a 2 burner stove underneath the sliding side window in inclement weather. Chassis and panels are sound, waxoiled and undersealed. New leisure battery with split charger. LED lights up and down. New vent skylight with fly netting. The only rust was on the lips of rear mudguards now removed, treated and hand painted as are the side panels.
