Why am I selling?
Bought last year in hope to take partner and dog on holidays, things didnโt work out with partner and the dog is a nightmare at campsites. Will be sad to sell, but need the space on the drive now for a day to day vehicle.
Details:
Pop top roof with enough room to sleep 2 upstairs and 2 down (please note the sofa bed has since been removed). Low mileage for age (97k miles).
Bongo is classed as a car, so can be insured as a car. It has electric blinds, camping gas stove, kitchen storage, kitchen sink and solar panels to power a double socket with twin USB. It also runs on petrol.
Water system: 10 litre fresh water tank, 10 litre waste water tank.
Sink and Chrome Kitchen tap: only cold water.
Electric: 110 amp hour XTREME battery. 100 Watt Renogy Solar power. 375 Watt Victron inverter. 1 240v plug socket. 1 twin 12v usb sockets. Bluetooth monitor for the Battery via an app on your phone. Allowing you to monitor the power coming through the solar panel, the alternator, and the status of the battery.
No mains Hookup is needed for this van, runs perfectly off-grid. The Solar Panels charge the leisure battery. The solar panel alone is great and keeps the batteries on 100% even when using the 240v plug sockets for charging our phones and laptop. Just ensure you turn the inverter off after using it so that it doesnโt drain the batteries.
Small but spacious van, lots of storage and easy to find parking.
You can attach a hose with a shower fitting on the end (provided) which you can attach to the end of the tap allowing you to have a shower.
