Mercedes Arnold RM40
This is a one of a kind, professionally converted, retro camper/motorhome.
It’s extremely rare, however parts are easy to acquire due to similarity to other old Mercedes vehicles. Only 1200 were made back in the 80’s and we’ve never come across another in the UK.
The vehicle was manufactured in 1983 but first registered in the UK in 1992

We bought it a few years ago and had it completely renovated inside. The engine is bulletproof at only 106000 miles (shown on dash in km). It’s never broken down on us and all mechanics have commented on how sound the engine is. For a 40 year old van it’s still got a lot of years of life left in it.
The exterior is a fibreglass shell so it has no rust, no leaks and is extremely lightweight. At 6.5m it’s one of the largest 3.5t vehicles you can drive on a standard license.
It is of course an old van so there is wear and tear on the exterior (please see photos)
Fixed full size double bed – with a thinner mattress it will lift from the inside to access the under bed/boot storage. However we are selling it with a thick memory foam mattress
