Work done since purchase: Single tyre replacement, fuel injection valve replaced 18months+ ago, track ball joint replaced (regular wear point for van this age). New wipers and reflectors on last MOT. Well looked-after.
Please note: Seats in front cabin are worn due to DPD use – couriers jumping in and out catches the sides of the seats. They are comfortable and supportive to sit on, just not very pretty.
Short wheelbase allows for her to sit comfortably in a car-park space, therefore can be used as a primary vehicle.
I bought Nicki as a van conversion project, and completed her mid-2020. During last winter furlough I decided to re-fit her to a higher spec but was called back to work shortly after having stripped her down. Not having time to finish her, she is half-completed without the finishing touches that will make her shine.
My personal circumstances have changed – no longer single and now there’s 3 of us + a dog, so Nicki’s sadly no longer suitable for purpose. Therefore, I want to give her the opportunity to live her best life with a new owner who is ready to put their stamp on her! All of the essentials are installed, wiring and lighting, fully insulated, she needs finishing and some fancy woodwork to make her look stunning.
Stealthy approach to conversion, with roof vents (2, one with fan for circular ventilation) and solar panels kept low. Space left blank on sliding door to install window.
Retrofitted bulkhead with sliding window compartment, all insulated.
Insulation:
DODO sound-deadening matting
Celotex foam insulation, 50mm wall & ceiling, 30mm floor
Thermo-fleece insulation and spray-foam insulation in bodywork gaps
Reflective bubble-wrap insulation coating for vapour barrier, sealed with thermowrap tape
(I used Nicki for a few weeks of winter living mid-way through conversion, and it was very important that she be suitable for winter explorations.)

I’ve driven Nicki as my primary vehicle since May 2019. She runs like a dream, good mileage on the motorway and quite nippy.
No toilet or shower.
Mattress is 4ft width and has about 4 inches cut off the end to allow it to be put widthways across van. I’m 5’10” but curl up when asleep. Might be a squeeze for very tall people.

As she’s not finished and requires TLC, I’m not expecting to make money out of Nicki. Similar vans of this age with completed interiors/finishes that are MWB/LWB sell for around £12-15k; I’d like to break even on costs so wouldn’t accept less than £9k including a full service before sale (£220+VAT).
Most important to me is that she enables someone to explore/festival/holiday rather than just driving me to work whilst I feel guilty about her ignored potential.
