Mercedes Viano - New Camper Van Conversion

We are selling our Mercedes Viano Campervan conversion which is named ‘Weekender’.

The conversion is based on the prestigious Mercedes people carrier. This particular vehicle is an ex-diplomat vehicle so presumably spent its early life chauffeuring diplomats and government officials around. The photographs illustrate the conversion and excellent condition. The conversion is recently completed and is designed to allow the Mercedes leather seats to be retained.

The pop top is manufactured by Streamline Pop Tops and fitted this year. It allows extra head room and is easily upgraded to provide extra sleeping accommodation, but we haven’t had the need so there is currently no extra bed.

The conversion includes: 240 volt hook-up, 12V leisure battery with 240V pulse charger, two burner hob, cool-box, sink and cold water via internal 10ltr tank and external waste. The units are laminated 15mm lightweight ply NOT MDF. The units provide storage for personal items and also portable toilet. 12V lighting is also provided. All rear windows have black-out curtains and there is an external fitted cover for windscreen and cab side windows. The leisure battery is in the rear wardrobe which is accessible from the back of the vehicle.

The bed is a three panel fold-out with memory foam mattress pads stored on the back shelf – it is less than 15 seconds to set-up the bed.

The base vehicle is a 2010 2.2 diesel automatic cdi ambiente with 153,000 miles, this is only approximately 11000 miles per year average. The vehicle has extensive service history from new, has been recently serviced and has MOT until October 24. For the technically minded 2.2 diesel has timing chain rather than timing belt and avoids the requirement for timing belt replacement. It should also be noted that the vehicle is not an import.

We have owned it for about a year and since then it has been our daily transport. During this time it has done the journey to South West France many times but also done school runs, shopping trips etc. It is a truly versatile vehicle as happy with local Tescos as it is with the Mediterranean coast, it has never let us down. This is a genuine sale, inspection and viewing absolutely welcomed.
