I bought this van in 2014, when it was a simple panel van; I had few adventures with Mr T, we travel around the South West, road trip to Wales, Sweden and few times back and forth from Italy. Maybe not enough as I hoped.
The vehicle has full service and MOT history, despite his age the engine runs smoothly and never encountered any major issues.
The tax road is paid till June 2025.
The major works conducted throughout the years were: installation of rock and roll bed, side tinted window, new stainless steel exhaust system guaranteed for life (and tuned to very low noise), side bars, roof bars, derusted and fully resprayed in 2022, new front window, new tyres in 2023. Plus any additional work required for MOT and during every yearly service.
I made the conversion myself, so it is indeed highly personal, however very easy to rebuilt.
The van is basic but comfortable and Mr T is a reliable companion.
Leisure battery and LED lights installed, but the leisure battery requires to be changed.
No gas tank, no water tank, no fridge or specific kitchen area.
There is an extension to connect to Main power with three UK plus and two USB plug. A panel to monitor DC power with 12V plug and USB points was installed.
Included with the van: roof rack, bike rack with Fiamma bag for external storage, FIAMMA pegs, battery charger, T4 van cover for outdoors, front windows sun screens, camping stove with butane bottles, cutlery, curtain and cushions made to match, mattress topper to make the rock and roll bed more comfortable. Basic items for electric work, extra metal paint for exterior, items required to drive in EU and fire extinghuisher under the driver seat.
Since 2022 the van has been sitting in Italy, indoors and regularly checked – I moved to Cape Verde in 2020, so currently Mr T is just waiting for adventures but as my life circumstances changed, I rather having him a new owner that can make the most of his life.
The yearly drive was Italy-UK for the MOT, allowing me to go around without problems.
The cost is a little higher than average, it was a difficult choice to make to put him up for sale. The price still should allow the new owner to rebuild it, if needed. The engine part is solid, so you can drive it free of worries and basic enough for a weekend away.
