Hello all, I am selling my beautiful Van-essa, she’s a medium wheel based Ford Transit 2011 for £10k. She has been my pride and joy for the last five years. I fully converted her as my first conversion and have been tweaking and improving her over the years. We’ve been to France, Holland, Belgium, Scotland twice, Wales, Cornwall and Devon and we have had some epic times. I’m sad to let her go but want to use the money to buy a house. I did all the electrics but my friend who is an electrician fitted the 240 v for campsite hook up and checked them all over.
Mileage 196k, M.O.T till 1/3/24 (£500) and recently serviced on 09/01/23. Left hand sized passengers tyre purchased February. Was serviced every six months for years before I owned it, I’ve serviced her almost every year since I brought her in 2018. So she has been really well maintained even though the mileage is quite high. This van is a high roof so tall men can stand up inside. I have kept all the paperwork of previous services and work done. It had a new body control manual and alternator fitted in 2018. It had some welding done to the drivers rear wheel arch in 2020. Apart from that just breakpads and tyres. Legally changed on the V5C to a Motor Caravan. Has rear barn doors and a sliding door.
– She has 1 x 125 Ah AGM Leisure Battery brought in August 2022
– A Fuse box with wired connections for all circuits and the correct fuses.
– A two ring gas hob, gas bottle that’s easy to change
– Two Water Tanks of 25 Litre, one fresh and one waste
– 4 x 12 v sockets as well as 2 x USB ports
– 4 x G4 LED spotlights, an LED Strip lights and reading light so plenty of light
– A sink with tap and submersible water pump
– A Viamma Roof Vent with fan recently refitted summer 2022 with a a fan to keep you cool and extract food smells.
– Another roof Ventilator (spinny one)
– 1 x 12V 50W Vikram Solar Panel and Wanderer 10A PWM Charge Controller plus Split Charge Relay 1mtr – Medium Duty Split Charge Kit with 12V M-Power 140amp
– A Windy Smithy Wood Burner with single to twin wall flue surrounded on three sides by fire proof board and – a fire extinguisher and carboard monoxide alarm, I have been to the alps and been toasty.
– The van is full insulated with a vapour barrier. It has 50mm Celotex boards on floor and ceiling and 25mm in walls as well as Enotherm silver foil wrap.
– A seating area and table that seats four, this turns into a double bed for two with slats between the two
The table has a pole and slot in the floor which hides in a cupboard and you can fold the table away.
– Plenty of storage in the seating/bed boxes, the overbed cupboards and the overcab cupboard plus extra pockets and shelves.
– A Fiamma bike rack for two bikes.
– A window in sliding door.
– Secret hidden wine cellar under the sink.
– Carpet Trim on back doors and sliding door
– 1 x full working key (new key last year cost me £250), 2 x spares that only open front of cab
