◾️760kg Payload

This is a brand new handbuilt conversion that has been carefully designed with strength where needed but without excess weight allowing for that 760kg payload aswell as better MPG and handling than a heavier conversion. It is fully insulated with foil backed foam against the outside panels and recycled plastic wool inside the cavities. Many converted vans aren’t weighed and some when they are only have a few hundred kg payload. Bearing in mind the average adult male weighs 85kg they could be close to the limit with just 3 men in the front and no luggage or food.

The 170cm long, 150cm wide, double bed folds in the middle with the back coming up to form a couch in the day, this gives a lot more floor space than a fixed bed but also can be changed in seconds and with the bedding staying on saving time and cupboard space. The child’s bed is made using supports hidden in the boot and is created using the dinette seats under the parents bed.

It has a modern design with white and chrome cladding ceiling with built in spot lights, soft furnished panels, gloss cupboard doors and faux leather matching seating. There are 2 opening skylights 1 with a fan and lights. There are 4 windows in the back all opening and with self retracting blinds or sliding shutters. There I are two slide out tables on locking runners, one under the bed making the seats by it into a dinette inside and one coming out of the side door as an outside table.

The camper is designed to be gas free with a large 360 amp hour leisure battery bank and a 3000w Renogy inverter charger. This provides plenty of power to allow you to stop where you choose and put the 240v kettle on or make dinner with the induction hob or microwave without any additional power being required. The Renogy charge panel provides accurate readings of the capacity in the batteries. It shows the rate of charge from the 3x 100w solar panels on the roof and from the engine when running or from a hook up lead on a campsite. By going gas free your power is generally free from the sun with no concerns of gas leakages or build up of fumes or finding somewhere open for a new gas bottle when it runs out. The solar system also keeps the van’s starting battery topped up when it is parked.

There is ample storage with plenty of cupboards, draws and underseat storage aswell as the large boot area which can be accessed from inside or out. All cupboards have knobs that lock for travel built in. The door to the boot area also allows a kayak, surf board or similar to be carried in the van.

There is a 51 Ltr fresh water tank built in under the van, providing water through a Shurflo trail King 12v pump and pressure expansion tank to the sink and hand held spray gun in the boot area. The tank is filled through discreetly placed fill flap in the back of the drivers footwell. The drainage can be directed out under the van if you are parked somewhere suitable or on a campsite a container can easily be placed underneath. The drainage can also be diverted to a container under the sink if you choose.

The heating is dealt with by a diesel heater on the left in the boot with combustion inlet and exhaust under the van and the heat outlet under the dinette seats. It runs from its own diesel tank in the boot.

The cab Looks smart and fresh with new faux leather seat covers and an all new rubber floor. To aid the driver an extra screen is fitted where a rear view mirror would be and provides an image from the shark fin camera on the roof at the back when ever the ignition is on. There is a new entertainment system fitted with sat nav, DAB radio and a reverse camera seperate to the rear view camera giving you a view straight back as well as a view down at the rear bumper when reversing. It also has Apple carplay and Android Auto to connect to your phone.

For charging devices there are two USB A and one USB C socket aswell as the original cigarette socket in the cab. Then there and four USB A and two USB C as well as four double 240v sockets in the back providing plenty of power options for all your gadgets.
The Thetford Qube 145 toilet locks discreetly under the seating ready for when needed.

The 50ltr 12v fridge with an LG compressor has a small freezer compartment and digital display allowing you to set the required temperature of each compartment separately.

The base van is a 2012 L3H3 (long wheelbase and high roof) Ford Transit allowing a 6ft person to stand inside even after all the insulation. It’s the higher powered 125bhp 2.2 diesel engine with rear wheel drive and a 6 speed manual gearbox. It has the heated windscreen and can take 3500kg.
It has covered 89000miles from new, it was freshly serviced with a new MOT with no advisories when I bought it in December and has covered less than 100 miles during the conversion process. It runs great and 89,000 miles is very little to a transit there are plenty to buy with 250,000miles plus. It also has a brand new windscreen after picking up a chip.

The camper is already for its first trip, will you be the lucky ones who enjoy it?
