This Transit is a diesel. It passed it’s most recent MOT 15/01/2021. Brake pads have just been replaced. Freshly Serviced and ready to go. The bodywork is in excellent condition for a van of this age, a few minor dents on the rear doors and right side, a few minor paint scratches but nothing eye catching! Two previous owners, the van had been serviced 4 times prior to my owning, which is ample for the mileage.
This newly converted Transit includes:
A foot pump fed sink, with 50 litres of fresh water, draining into a waste water tank for emptying.
A locally handcrafted mini wood burner with ample wood storage beneath.
An easy to use slide out bed which serves as an excellent sofa for use in the day.
A fold down dining table and seats that double up as storage boxes, to maximise both space efficiency and storage capacity.
Ample over head storage compartments as well as storage above the cab, in the kitchen cabinets AND beneath the bed.
Full Celotex insulation.
A 12v electric system that is using a 330W solar panel to charge the 180amph leisure battery that charges the extractor fan, a cool box, 2 USB charging points, 4 warm white spot lights, car lighter socket for laptop charging and a voltmeter that reads the batteries charge.
This has been converted with pride and I’m very happy with the practical yet characterful finish.
It’s a slide out sofa bed, it sleeps two adults comfortably measuring 1.9m in length, and 1.3m in width, just shy of king size!
