Comfort of a thick 1000 pocket sprung/memory foam hybrid mattress, hot shower with, kitchen, cooking facilities and a fridge/freezer to keep the beers and wine ice cold!
Intended on building it to live and work remotely in the van but got married in the meantime (engaged in the van!) and now need to concentrate on a house renovation, so need the money for that! Newly converted this year but sadly after all the blood, sweat and tears the van needs to go. A lot of hours have been put into this project over the last couple of years, no expense spared on all the fixtures and high tech components, as this is how I wanted it for myself, the Victron electrics are supplied as a kit with a full wiring diagram from Callidus, so rest assured it’s been done to a very high spec with all the correct components, wiring and fuses etc. and you can keep check of the batteries levels and solar panel via the Bluetooth Victron app.
Insulated with thick sheep’s wool and Birch ply lining throughout to keep the van breathable and warm in the winter/cool in the summer.
Full 2k raptor respray on exterior in textured Slate grey RAL 7015. Coating is extra tough but also easy to wash, just a bit of shampoo and hose away. Just had a new windscreen installed and new Bosch wipers, new headlights and rear lights with bright LED bulbs, rear electric sunroof, 2 rear opening windows on both sides and bathroom fan all keep the van well ventilated.
The new off road wheels from rogue alloys not only look the part, but you can really notice the extra grip if you’re pulling away on rough terrain/wet grass, and the alloys come with a lifetime guarantee from rogue, these were only purchased in June 2024 with barely any use since then, so full tread left on the tyres.
HD projector included for those movie nights which works great with a fire stick.
Loads of storage in the garage area, cab overhead, and large cupboards.
Despite the chunky look, the van weighs in at just 2.8t (max allowed weight 3.5t) (weighbridge certificate provided). So even with full tanks and passengers, it’s still well underweight.
I hope the van goes to someone who can enjoy it as much as I was looking forward to it!
