Ford Transit Custom L2H2 2.2 Brand New Conversion

The conversion:

The conversion carried out has been completed professionally by Tom, a coachbuilder and previous Ford qualified technician, to the highest of standards and with no expense spared.

Insulation- the body of the van has been sound and thermally insulated using Dodo mat sound deadening and recycled plastic bottle insulation. A full thermal membrane layer had been added to reduce condensation and improve thermal efficiency.

Windows-
The van has been fitted with rear barn door windows, offside fixed window and nearside opening window. All windows are privacy tinted.
The windows have also been fitted with black out integrated pull down blinds for privacy.

Wall finishes-
Custom made wall panels have been fitted alongside 4 way stretch carpet. Wall panels have been routed to give a panelled effect and painted for a light airy feel. All un-panelled areas have been carpeted in charcoal carpet and finished to the highest, professional standard.

The ceiling has been finished with a slatted ceiling with ambient and main lighting, controlled by control panel.

Cabinetry-
This conversion has been fitted with hand-made, custom built cabinetry, made with lightweight poplar core ply which has been edge-banded and spray painted for a perfect finish. There is additional storage in the bulkhead, overhead storage and an additional fitted cupboard under the front seats.
The kitchen cabinetry has been finished in Farrow and Ball Dix Blue and bed furniture in white.
All cabinetry has been fitted with matte black hardware.

Kitchen-
The handmade kitchen unit features a cupboard housing the waste water tank and gas cabinet, a flip down cabinet and a drawer unit, all finished in a shaker style. The work surface comprises a solid 20mm oak top, finished with upstand to prevent splashes. The work surface houses a Thetford 160 series twin burner, sink and tap. The sink is fitted with a Seaflow water pump, allowing easy access to running water.
There is also an Adventurer AD50 fridge/freezer installed within the kitchen, with an LG compressor.
All appliances are brand new and come with full instructions and receipts.

Dining-
The van has been fitted with the ever popular Lagun table leg which is removable for easy storage. The table top is a 20mm solid oak top finished in Osmo oil. The dining table is fully movable and can be used alongside the kitchen as extra workspace.

Flooring-
The van has been fitted with a high quality oak effect vinyl flooring, with edge trim added to prevent water ingress.

Lighting-
The van has been fitted with an array of lighting options including diffused and dimmable strip lights to create an ambient effect, main ceiling lights and touch operated under cabinet lights for isolated lighting.

Bed setup-
The fitted bed is easy to set up and takes under a minute, giving a large and comfortable sleeping area. The firm foam cushions are fully lined and are finished in a fire retardant fabric. The covers are easily removable.

The total size of the sleeping area is 182cm long by 168cm wide.

Heating-
A fully fitted diesel heater is concealed beneath the kitchen drawer unit and is operated using a touch screen module on the main control panel. The heater utilises diesel directly from the main tank. The heater will not draw fuel if the main tank is below a 1/4 of a tank.

The van has also been fitted with a temperature controlled Fiamma Turbo Vent.

Electrics-
The van is fitted with a 175w Victron solar panel, Victron MPPT solar controller, split charge relay, Victron 12amp battery charger, 12v mains fuse box, 240v consumer unit, invertor, shore hook up and two 100ah leisure batteries, giving a combined total of 200ah.

All cabling is insulated and appliances and lighting are controlled using the main control panel, which is laser engraved from oak veneer adding a lovely touch.

Two standard 240v plug sockets, two standard USB sockets, one of which is USB C fast charge.

Safety-
The van is fitted with a FireAngel carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector to ensure user safety. These appliances are brand new.
Additionally, the electrics have been signed off and are certified.
An LPG/LAV Landlord gas safety certificate has been completed ensuring the completed gas works are safe to use.
Also included is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

Extras-
Included with the van is everything needed to set straight off.
There are mugs, glasses, crockery, utensil, pans, cushions, blanket, rug etc.
All that is needed to hit the road is bedding and food!
