Ford Transit 115 T350 L3H3 (Long Wheel & High Top)
Ford Transit Campervan – Only 99,000miles – Long Wheel Base and Hight Top Race Van with Massive Garage Space.
Custom van for off grid use. I’ve spent 4 months each Summer using this for Festival Living and 10 months for a continuous expedition and it’s superb. You can fit Bikes/BMX/Expedition Kit etc into the Garage and it just takes all the stuff you would need for full time living and any hobbies you have.
There are some dents expected in a 2nd hand van but it still looks great and most of them are so minor you don’t notice them. Engine is perfect and won’t let you down. I bought the Van 4 years ago on 76,000 miles and it had a new Engine fitted at 75,000 so its only done 24,000 miles on this Engine. Also taken out the original sound system for Sony Music Player that has NFC, Bluetooth, CD and Radio and is much better. Put in a little reversing camera that helps.
Replaced tyres so all of them are Michelin Agilis Crossclimate All weather tyres – they are brilliant in all conditions! I’ve also put in 2 new starter batteries with 3 year guarantees, looked after the van and completed all the repairs needed to it. Did a major service and replaced components needed on her. On the last MOT there were just 4 advisories including a front wheel bearing to replace and slight damage to one tyre and I’ve replaced those so the MOT has very little on it at all.
Cool in the sun and warm in the winter thanks to 50mm Celotex all round and a Diesel Heater. 2 Ceiling fans for great ventilation to push large amounts of air through.
Great solar system and large battery – have 250Watt panel on the roof running 200ah leisure battery. Never run out of power and easily able to charge any laptops, phones etc. Also have a 1000W Invertor so you can use 240 Volt sockets and charging as well as USB.
Kitchen has 2 Hobs, Sink with 50 litre fresh water tank, CRX50 compressor fridge uses hardly any power, and Thetford Duplex Oven. The Gas is run by LPG plumbed in so can fill up at petrol stations – about £15 fills the full tank and will deliver enough gas for 3 months cooking 3 meals a day. Water is filled up via the outside as well so easy with a hose and from service stations etc.
Bed is fitted and bigger than a King Size bed – so comfortable that I actually now prefer living in the van rather than in a house!
So much storage in the van between the garage and ample cupboard space for all your kitchen needs, clothes etc.
Have a pedal box for extra security and will leave the roof racks on for you to carry stuff up top.
