Unlike other motorhomes, “Vera” (as we call her) can do extended trips completely off grid, with an energy efficient electrical set up and solar system that has allowed us to live on the road full time whilst both working remotely. This motorhome rarely needs electric hook up.
The layout of our Welcome 72 provides an island bed with space each side, incredible storage (with a full width garage) living area and generous bathroom. There is a shower with a gas hot water system, powerful diesel heater and Remis cab blinds to give you comfort and privacy on the road. The upholstery was completely replaced (apart from the bed mattress) 12 months ago by A1 Trimmers with a hard wearing fabric.
The available payload of this van is 475KG exc. driver and 90% full water and fuel tanks, making this a very attractive van for people who like to carry lots of toys and gadgets whilst still remaining within the 3.5 tonne weight limit.
As this has been our full-time home for the last 14 months, whenever anything has needed doing, the work has been done at whatever expense necessary. The latest service showed green scores across every metric (all paperwork from initial registration and first owners present).
