Ford Transit 2.2 TDCi 350 Panel Van 5dr Diesel Manual RWD L2 H3
This transit van in in great condition on the outside and underneath, with the 6 speed 2.2 engine this van is lovely to drive and being MWB its really easy to maneuverer and take pretty much anywhere. There is unfortunately very little service history with the van, but since having it I have carried out a full service. Replaced rear hub seals as advised on last MOT. New discs and pads all round, will come with a fresh MOT.
This is a brand new off-grid campervan conversion, I have kept the design really simple and functional which allows you to add your own touches. Please have a look on my Instagram for full build photos.
Insulation: Flooring – subframe with loose fill vermiculite insulation, walls – Recycled plastic bottle loft insulation, roof – 25mm insulation board.
Cladding: 9mm lightweight spruce cladding
Floor: light oak effect laminate flooring
Electrics: This van is very well equipped with electrics and give you enough power to survive away from campsites if need be. x3 110amp/h leisure batteries, split-charge relay, 1000watt renogy psw inverter(giving 240v), 200 watt renogy solar panel, renogy rover charge controller.
Kitchen: The stove for cooking is stored under the cabinet meaning more countertop space when not cooking, and next to that is a full-size kitchen sink fed by a submersible pump in a container bellow (25L fresh, and 25L grey)
Heating: 5kw bluetooth diesel heater installed which is plumped into the main fuel tank.
Bed/dining: The bed area is massive measuring 6ft1 x 5ft6, this is made by removing the swinging table leg and using the table to fill the gap. There is also lots of storage underneath the bench.
Fridge: The cooler used is stored under the bed and pulls out, this is powered by the leisure batteries and cools down very quickly. The reason I really like using these coolers is that they have a really low draw on 12v mode, and on a sunny day you will get more power in from the solar than you will use running the fridge.
Windows: In the back there are 3 opening windows and a roof vent, providing really nice ventilation but also keeping the feeling of privacy.
Any more questions please get in touch, virtual tours can be arranged too.
The bed is a very good size 6ft1 x 5ft6, and is completed by using the tabletop to fill the gap.
