Meet Sal, an absolute workhorse of a van that has never let us down!
Selling as we are returning home to New Zealand, we really wish we could take her with us.
She is a well built 2013 Mercedes Sprinter with plenty of room and storage perfect for a couple to live or travel in. We have been living and travelling comfortably throughout Europe and never had a single problem even on tight, steep and windy roads.
With a full service history available (last service April 2024) and no advisories on her last MOT (until April 2025), Sal will take you where you need to go with confidence and style.
She has 140100 miles on the clock (may increase slightly) and has been meticulously looked after mechanically and serviced regularly with receipts for all work available from purchase in 2020 by the previous owners who did the conversion. Vans in Sals condition can easily exceed 300000 miles.
Sal has plenty of room to travel in comfort with a full sized double bed & memory foam mattress, a large area for cooking and comfy couches for chilling out in the evening.
She is a RWD van with 2 new back tires and >5mm tread on her front 2.
Her 2.0L turbo diesel engine has enough power to climb through the alps easily while still getting between 35-40mpg.
She is a pleasure to drive and can cruise the autobahn easily and comfortably.
Her gearbox is solid with no crunching or slipping.
Underbody has been professionally sprayed with a rust-proof material for peace of mind.
There are a couple of minor bumps and bruises consistent with a van of Sal’s age and which has been on so many adventures.
