Description of Beds: Inamorata has a bed that can be made to be a double or a king size that sleeps two adults and a child. I’ve also had two adults and two dogs comfortably sleep on the bed.
Description of Seating: The van will take three people that will fit comfortably in the back cabin. There are three seat belts in the front with headrests, this includes the driver. However, if you are travelling with others as a group you would probably get at least 5 people sitting around the table for socialising. There is room within the back for a table to be installed. The metal pole sits into the hole within the floor and the table sits on top of it. When not in use, or when driving, the wooden table top and metal pole are stored at the back of the van.
Description of Electrical Setup: There is an electric hook up attached to the van with cable provided, there is an inverter that charges power from 2 x 12v to 240v but only when on hook up. There are two plug sockets behind the TV. However, the TV is plugged into one socket, and the other socket must only be used when attached to the electric hook up. There are also USB charging points located within the van. There is a solar panel attached to the roof to enable the van to function off grid. The batteries are split relay and will charge when the engine is running.
Cooking Equipment: Inside the cabin are two gas hobs for cooking, an oven, sink, a fridge freezer, pots, pans, cutlery and kitchen utensils (sieve, potato peeler, bottle opener, tin opener) cups, glasses, brush, brush and shovel, first-aid kit, filter coffee pot, toasting rack, chopping boards.
Water and Sanitation: The hot water is powered but only when on hook up. If you are off grid there is only access to cold water within the van. The 20 L water storage is located underneath the sink that supplies water to the sink via a pump. The grey water seeps directly out of the van onto the floor below. There is no drinking water so best to bring it with you.
Audio Equipment: There is just a standard radio in the front cabin and no audio system in the rear. Although there are USB plug points in the back. The TV also enables music to be played.
Type of Heating: Inamorata has a diesel heater located within the back cabin.
Extra Information: There is also plenty of storage space underneath the seating area and under the fridge. And there is extra storage space above the cabin area as you get into the van. There is also a TV that has Freeview channels. However, the auto tuning needs to be done when arriving at a new location.
There is also external LED lighting, one is a bar across the entire front of the van, the second is attached to the side of the van by the side door.
We have also installed a sun deck/star gazing platform on the roof, it’s a fantastic addition for taking in the scenery whilst having a drink or lying back and relaxing within a dark skies area watching shooting stars! Bliss
