Peugeot Boxer Autosleeper Symphony
Selling our campervan Peugeot Boxer Auto-sleeper Symphony 2.5 Diesel (model Boxer 320 MWB Medium Wheel Base) from 1997. 135K miles.
We are selling it because we don’t have enough time to use it unfortunately.
We just passed the MOT and it’s valid until 25th April 2025, so it’s ready to enjoy this summer.
It’s been very well looked-after. The interior is all original and in very good condition. The exterior has some rust typical for its age but only aesthetically as it just passed the MOT.
It’s perfect for weekends away and also longer trips in the UK and the continent as it has everything you need:
– 3 belted seats
– 2 berth
– 2 tables
– Gyratory passenger seat
– 2 gas hobs
– Hot water (gas and electric mains)
– Leisure battery
– Kitchen sink with hot water
– Oven and grill (gas)
– Fridge (gas and electric mains)
– Toilet (fixed with cassette)
– Bathroom sink (with hot water too)
– Shower with high pressure
– Folding kitchen top for extra space
– Tons of storage
– Safe under passenger seat (fits laptops and other valuables)
– Smoke and carbon monoxide alarm
– Many internal lights
– 2 roof vent windows
– 5 windows that can be opened with blinds and anti-mosquito nets
– Mains hook for camping
– 50L clean water tank
– 30L grey water tank
– 2 gas bottles
– Sony radio with CD
– All original manuals
– 2 sets of keys
– Front, back and side curtains
We have also fitted/bought a few extra things to make life more comfortable, which we will give you:
– 3 kitchen towel hangers
– Dish rack to dry dishes that fits in the sink when travelling
– Foldable 10L water bottle
– Water funnel to re-fill water tank if needed
– Towel hangers in bathroom
– New shower curtain
– Gas bottle gauge
– Mains connection cable
– Gas bottle wrench
– Wheel levelers
– Anti-theft steering wheel clamp
– Fire extinguisher
– Fire blanket
– Emergency triangle
– Emergency hi-vis jacket
– Ice scrapper
– Spare engine oil and windscreen liquid
– Jack
– 400W inverter to charge laptops and other electronics from the leisure battery
– 12V USB and USB C charger
– 220v heater
We have done a lot of maintenance over the last year and invested over £3,000 in it, so it should be ready to go for some time. We’ve put brand new (we have invoices to show):
– Engine oil
– Gearbox oil
– Oil filter
– Air filter
– Fuel filter
– Coolant liquid
– Screenwash
– Wiper blades
– Cam belt
– Clutch
– Transmission bellow
– Water pump
– Water pump belt
– Alternator belt
– Thermostat
– Distribution kit
– Injector nozzles
– Battery
– Starter motor
– Glow plugs
Everything works perfectly apart from these:
– Fridge on 12v. It works perfectly on gas and mains electric when stationary, but just doesn’t work when driving (we’ve been told that with 12v it doesn’t actually cool much anyway so we didn’t bother fixing it).
– Space heater. It blows air, but not hot air. This is why we got the 220v heater which we use when plugged into electric mains at campsites (and we will give it to you). If you plan not to go to campsites, we would recommend fitting a diesel heater which are more efficient than gas ones.
– The grey water tank outlet sometimes get a bit stuck and you need to push in a little branch or something. A good idea would be to replace the outlet with a larger one, but it does work as it is.
– The engine sometimes starts a bit rough when cold, but once it warms up it goes very smooth.
We are sad to let it go, but it really needs someone who can use it and enjoy it!
Please only serious offers. We don’t accept part exchange, only money. Thanks!
