The van has the Euro 6 / ULEZ compliant 2.0L, 130 bhp engine and 6-speed manual gearbox. I get between 28 and 30 mpg on a long trip.
Service history
The van was bought in 2020 at 64,000 miles. It was an ex-fleet delivery vehicle. It had been fully serviced during this time.

The body work is good but not perfect. Because it’s galvanized, there isn’t any rust – however there are a few stone chips and paint defects on the bodywork and it looks like the side door has had a dent repaired at some point in the past (before I bought it).
There are two chips in the windscreen. These were there when I bought the van, and do not affect the MOT test.
This was self-converted in 2020/21 from an ex-delivery van, and the layout was designed to have belted seats and berths for 4 people, which is very rare in these vans.
Since building, my family have enjoyed trips all over the UK and France, but now the kids have grown into teenagers and no longer want to come away with us. I love this van, but now is the time to pass it on and start a new project just for 2 people.
The walls, floor and ceiling are sound deadened and fully insulated. The furniture is built using Morland lightweight plywood. The kitchen drawers and cupboard fronts are from IKEA.
I have a gross vehicle weight certificate taken after conversion, and a recent Gas-Safe Landlords safety certificate (valid until Oct 2024).
It is registered as “Van with Windows” on the V5.

The rear skylight does not have a fan, but the opening is the same size as a Maxxfan and the wiring is already in place to upgrade if desired.
