Vehicle Description

2011 2.4 RWD – 140BHP – 6 speed
7 months MOT

– New engine and clutch installed at 120k in 2018 after a cam belt failure.

The van has also just returned from an official ford dealership for a new ECU and Injectors programming and is endorsed by ford and supplied with no fault codes.

The van is in great mechanical condition runs very smoothly and handles perfectly.
The gear box is in great condition and runs and shifts smoothly.
At 140BHP with rear wheel drive this thing accelerates rapidly and with the suspension and brake upgrades feels damn near sporty.

In the 7+ years I’ve owned this van Ihave spent upwards of 22k+
-8k base vehicle.
-2nd owner purchased from a commercial dealership selling an ex Morson fleet vehicle.
– It had a cushy life and was previously used as the mobile office and lunch vehicle/amenities vehicle as referenced on the Vanliners conversion plate in tbe cab.
-5k+ on the new engine and clutch
-5+ on the conversion
– Several more general maintenance and repairs.
(I have lived and worked in this vehicle full time on rotation and travelled extensively to perdue high level sport persuits, it’s been on 5 tours of Europe including winter 23-24 as such has been maintained accordingly, I have personally done oil changes within maintenance schedule service intervals and last had it formally serviced in a garage within 5k of it’s current mileage.
– I have replaced /upgraded all 4 corners suspension and brake calipers.
– 2023 MOT I replaced the prop shaft and bearings and had 2 small patches of welding to the sills.
– 2024 February MOT all new tyres
-2024 March I repainted the base of the van and treated any surface spot rust.
– 2024 April I upgraded the custom cab interior, upgraded the head unit to an Atoto 7″ display complete with: SatNav – Android Auto – Google – Google maps – Spotify – YouTube – Netflix – Hands free voice control calls and messaging – hand control on steering wheel.

In the spring this year I gave the van a face lift and replaced one front quarter plastic and refurbished the rest.
I had custom legal 3d gel license plates made and painted the skirt and made minor touch ups across the whole body and resealed an exterior points including fan and solar entry glands.
The body and underside are rust free although there is a dent on the side roller door.

This is my third conversion.
It’s a reluctant sale due to an impending change of living arrangements and is priced very competivly based on the extensive mechanical upgrades and maintenance throughout.

I am aiming for a quick sale and only hoping to gain back the price I’ve just paid for my next conversion project base vehicle, rather than holding out for the full value of this vehicle .
Further meaningful progress on my next build with an Autumn deadline depends on the sale of this vehicle.

Conversion Description

As a professional Design Engineer by day, cosy house cat by night, and ex full time athlete – now weekend warrior pursuing rock climbing…
This van has been a culmination of my technical expertise and creative outputs.

The theme is modern scandi, classy camper with a rugged exterior. This van has been my sanctuary and is designed to be the perfect place to relax and unwind with company after a big day in the mountains. Functionality and comfort were the driving forces for inspiration and much of the magic of the design truly comes to light when in use.

I first began the conversion back in 2017 upon purchasing the vehicle whilst working as the integration manager for a company converting iso shipping containers into mobile units for the military. Turning containers into offices, mobile medical surgery’s, air conditioned service dog kennels or forward operating bases.

As such I applied my coach building skills along with my own personal flare to create a very practical and functional conversion finished to a very high degree with an artistic flair utilising a beautiful blend of materials and textures.
The modern scandi style is met with the clean and clinical comfort.
Styling and pairing of woods has to be seen to be appreciated.
The functional areas are clean and balanced and the living space comfortable and cosy.

The van has tons of storage space as it was designed to hold all my climbing surfing paragliding and general outdoor equipment.
As well as leave enough space for 2 occupants personal items, clothing, and still have room for a pet and it’s requirements.

With all this at the centre of this vans design it still manages to sit 2 to dine comfortably, provide an office/work area with a view and two table top configurations for desk or dinner.

I have lived and worked in this van full time and travelled extensively internationally in it.
It has been lovingly cared for and crafted as both my home work place and means to fulfil my personal endeavours.

I was actually in the process of upgrading and finalising the build for myself this spring with aims of another block of long term travel.
However I received bad news from the hospital around a life changing injury I sustained in 2022 requiring another major surgery.
As such I plan to sell this vehicle whilst working on upsizing into my next and will return to full time van life in 2025 after my ankle is fused.
This vans been my passion project for many years but my health now dictates a change of course.
Grab yourself a really beautiful bargain…

This van would suit a couple looking for an long term adventure vehicle or a full time van lifer who does or wants to live and work remotely, or travel in comfort and style.

With the new engine and mechanical upgrades and level of servicing and maintenance the van will be sound for another 150k miles easily.
With the current layout and additional capacity left at the fuse box any aspiring owner can still personalise the build to their own intent with ease.

Beds Description

The bed is a full sized double memory foam.

As this van was used for high level sport the vans design was centered around the full sized fix double bed. There is ample head room and the bedside storage is flush to the mattress top meaning it feels more like a queen size.

It sleeps 2 and a child or pet comfortably and I have had 4 sleeping in it cross ways using the storage side as head rests/pillow side.

Main Bed Length
190cm
