Mercedes Citan Crewvan
Single person camper, a bit stealth.
MOT until September 2022, fresh full service.
53,600 miles on the clock.
1461 cc. 112 g/km emissions.
5 gears, electric windows, radio with usb input for ipod etc. Above cab shelf.
I’ve owned this van for two years, bought from Edinburgh Van & Truck Centre; one owner before me. I have service record for my ownership only and have taken good care of it.
It’s not a long van, I’m 5’4″ and the bed is long enough for me, but a shorter van means better parking. I use it for wild swimming with the intention of brewing up after and having a nap….
First fix (floors, insulation, roof vent, leisure battery/electrics/interior lights, hook-up and diesel night heater great for cold mornings before you get in as it has a remote control) done by VanGo in Leith.
Bespoke furniture built by retired master craftsman. Tambour doors on base units, pop open cupboard above. Small fridge (big enough for a bottle of wine), sink and single gas hob. Slot-in table. Pull-out bed. Bespoke zebra covers by Impractical Clothes. 2″ firm foam on bed, brand new.
Window tints by Scot Tint.
A couple of things to finish: Connect gas, do blinds, fix water jerrycan, otherwise it would be a higher price. All the stuff is there to go.
The extras photo shows roll of bubble insulation (for window covers or you can just buy some online but most Citan back doors are barn not lift up like this one), zebra scraps for interior projects (like cutlery pouch, cushion etc), spare pare of fluffy winter seat covers (cow, not zebra), brand new porta potty and chemicals, hook-up lead, small kettle, frying pan and wee saucepan, plastic wine glass and tumbler, bakelite mug/bowl/side plate/dinnerplate, one set cutlery, pop-up sieve, bamboo chopping board and set of rubber coasters. Not pictured are: fire blanket and extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector. Gas bottle is full.
Going back to uni, so need to change vehicle. I’ve loved driving this van (done a few long trips and it handles well and feels safe) and doing it up but not camped out yet so everything is unused.
Bought as seen.
