Former French police transportation vehicle bought into the UK in 2014 and completely renovated and converted.

Front running gear off VWT2
Body work in very good condition
Internally now includes 2 gas supplied hobs, Fridge Freezer, microwave/oven, removable table, sink & taps, colour coordinating bench seat that converts to double bed, original VW front seats, Electric hook up, running water, heater.
no longer required MOT or Tax (as it is a classic) but has been maintained by qualified Mechanic (RAC)
Built in 1979 and operated by French Police, brought to uk in 2014, the previous owner spent over £40k in the conversion
When the conversion was finished. it was checked by a qualified Engineer and a report written up on the work carried out. Also the paperwork for the donor car (Audi A4) is available. Since acquiring Estelle (as she is known), she has traveled around the Scottish Highlands, along the famous NC500 with my partner and 2 dogs. She has also travelled around The Lake District, The Peak District, the majority of Wales, and pretty much most parts of the UK. In 2022 Estelle traveled back across the channel for 6 weeks as part of a trek around Europe visiting France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland. Then in 2023, another trip to Scotland and northern England before it had a complete refurb internally and a body refurb, including entire exterior respray, plus new brake drums etc and a front drive shaft. Now it is for sale as I have decided to move to Asia and unfortunately Estelle can’t come. If Estelle has a fault, it is the fact that she has no power steering so that needs to be considered.
Despite Estelles vintage heritage and beauty, she has time and time again proved her resilience and reliability to sustain “Van Life” whilst looking extremely cool. Attention is guaranteed. Feel free to check out her Instagram – le_petit_camper

Front running gear from VWt4 recently refurbished all round and the rear is standard Renault Estafette recently fully refurbished all round.
The front drive shaft was made to fit the new engine and has recently been changed so it is brand new
The ignition electrics are from a VW t2 and was overalled in 2023 and new wiring fitted
All work done in 2014 has all donor paperwork with qualified engineers report included and the recent refurb etc carried out by same company that did the original work in 2014. they are conversion specialist based in Leicester
