Master Mm33 Sport Dci 100 MWB Medium Roof
Low mileage, ex-disabled minibus with 5 gears, 100BHP in excellent condition. Full 12 Month MOT from 18/4/23. Close to J35 of the M6, between Lancaster and Kendal.
The van is a great festival or off-grid van – MWB with a medium roof (you can stand up in it, unless you’re really tall) and was originally a minibus for disabled people. It has kept a sturdy handrail at the door from that time. It has done just 57,000 miles and been serviced regularly. All paintwork and bodywork is in good, solid order and has just passed its MOT with no issues. The van drives really well and is an elevated driving position – it also comes with a security lock that fits around the pedals to help prevent it from being stolen.
It was converted professionally by Pendle Campervans near Burnley in late 2019 and features an L shaped rear lounge with a floor mounted dining table, which then becomes a double bed, with deep set windowsills for putting drinks, phones etc on. There are long and wide lipped shelves above for clothes, bedding etc and 240V plug and 12V plug sockets on the wall.
The windows all have a dark tinted window film applied for privacy and isn’t an obvious camper. I have been able to park in car parks and on streets without people realising it’s a camper. The integral Webasto Heater is quiet and keeps the van toastie warm without a 240v hook-up.
With this being a Medium Wheel Base van, it has extra room for its own toilet and washroom. There is a cassette toilet with flush, access to which for emptying is via a door opposite the sliding doors. There is a folding sink, which is serviced by the water pump and drains into the toilet cassette. The bathroom also has a useful lipped shelf for toiletries.
The kitchen area features a two burner hob and sink with running water (large water container underneath) along with a 2-way fridge that works on 240V when plugged into the mains and 12V whilst driving. There is lots of storage under the sink on two levels and more storage above for tins and jars etc. There are 2 plug sockets mounted on the kitchen unit, 240V and 12V.
The electrics are controlled by a unit above the fridge that controls the lights, water pump and a rocker switch for switching between van and leisure batteries and gas is piped from the storage area at the back where the propane bottle is strapped in alongside the leisure battery.
For heating, it has a Webasto Heater, which is controlled by a switch on the dashboard. This uses a small amount of diesel (approx 0.5 litres per hour) and electric from your battery (it is designed so it won’t use up all the fuel and/or electrics) to provide blown air heating into the living area. This heats up really quickly and means you don’t have to be plugged into the mains to keep warm, so excellent for wild camping and festivals.
There is a large amount of underseat storage that can be accessed from the rear doors or by lifting the seats from inside. The rear doors allow access to the storage and the dining table is mounted here when not in use.
