Renault Master LWB High top Van
Our beloved 2014 Renault Master Campervan (Renée), we’ve been on some wonderful adventures but it’s come to the time where we are now looking to settle down and hopefully buy our first home that isn’t on wheels.
Renée is constructed on a long wheel base chassis with the highest roof. She is a 2014 model with a diesel 2.3L engine and a 6 speed manual gearbox supplying the front wheels with start / stop. In the cab she has air conditioning, cruise control and a bluetooth radio. She is secured with a Phantom Sentinel alarm and tracker and on the rear doors and sliding door deadlocks have also been fitted.
Renée is mechanically very sound, with the most recent MOT completed in September 2022 having no advisories at all. In November 2022 she had a new windscreen, August 2022 she had 5 new Michelin Agilis Cross Climate all season tyres fitted and in May 2022 she had a new starter battery fitted along with the Phantom Sentinel Alarm and Tracker previously mentioned. She currently has 105000 miles on the clock but is still very occasionally in use (unfortunately not enough to be worth keeping) so this might creep up slightly.
The previous owner had completed approximately 5000 miles or so ago, along with a full service, the fitment of:
New Gearbox
New Flywheel
New Driveshaft
New Rear Brake Pads
Within the living area there is a full kitchen area with Sink, Dometic CRX 80L Fridge/Freezer and a Voyager Oven, Grill and Hob unit. A sectioned off cubicle houses a shower and a removable composting toilet. Lots of storage throughout consisting of fitted cupboards and shelves as well as a large shelf space on top of the cab and hollow seating. To the rear beneath the bed there is a large storage / garage space, within which the electricity system is housed on one side and the fresh water tank and plumbing system is mounted to the other side. In the middle of the garage is a sliding drawer with 2 x bicycle mounts which are currently set up for boost 110mm axle spacing although the mounts can be changed for a variety of front axle spacings. This drawer holds 2 x medium sized bikes with only the front wheels off.
For her plumbing Renée has a large 105L fresh water tank mounted below the bed, which is pumped via the 12v Shurflo 30 PSI pump and Fiamma Accumulator to the Camplux 6L instant water heater mounted on the back door for hot showers. The sink has both hot and cold separate taps with the waste water flowing directly out beneath both the shower and the sink and gets funnelled into 2 separate 23L waste water containers which we store within the garage space.
She has a 25L underslung LPG tank which supplies gas for heating both the interior and the water as well as supplying the Voyager stove. The interior heater is a Propex HS2000 blown air heater with an outlet into the footwell of the seating area. Electronically she has a full off grid setup complete with solar panels and 2 large leisure batteries powering an inverter for 2 x 230v sockets with everything else within the van running off a 12v system. This system includes dimmable LED lighting, a Maxxair fan, WiFi system, 2 x USB charging points and a 12v TV.
