2.5l diesel 5 gear manual. MOT due April 2023. Bodywork is in decent condition but does have the odd scratch scuff and ding. with one fairly large dint on the rear door bellow window (i reversed into a lamp post and smashed window: all repaired and window replaced with original heated glass) Since I’ve had it its been fully serviced 3 times, had a new drive shaft and had all the injector seals done. After breaking down earlier in the year and finding out the oil pump had malfunctioned and caused damage to the engine we had the engine completely rebuilt and refurbished. Whilst the engine was out we had a brand new clutch and refurbished turbo fitted as well. This is all still under warranty. Mechanically Rosie is absolutely sound. We have always had her repaired with the mind set of doing it properly so its a sound van for the long term. No expense has been spared and no corners cut in making sure she is as Mechanically reliable as possible! As to be honest we didn’t ever envision selling her. Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances we are sadly having to do just that. On the plus side we are pleased to be able to sell a much loved and meticulously looked after van that someone else can enjoy for years to come.
Here we have for sale our beloved camper van “Rosie” we have owned it for a few years and had countless fun trips and adventures throughout this time. Its done 95k and is a 2005 ex disability minibus with 1 key. I converted it myself and the layout is to accommodate 2 adults with 2 sofas that pull out to form a double bed width ways (im 6ft 1 and the double sleeps me and my wife perfectly) with a single child’s bunk bed at the back. Its fully insulated with celotex under the floor and a combination of recycled plastic insulation and closed cell foil foam in the walls with double bubble foil insulation creating the vapour barrier. The kitchen comprises of 4 drawers and 2 cupboards. One cupboard houses the water bottles and water pump for sink. The other houses the cool box style fridge and the leisure battery and split fuse relay. We use a primus camping stove for cooking (included) electrics is ran from a main switch board in the bulk head. It has 2x usb sockets and 6 switches of which only 3 are in use. 6 spot lights on 1 switch, an led strip light under the high cupboards on another and the water pump on the 3rd switch. It also has a cigarette lighter socket that powers the fridge. Storage is ample with 4 overhead lockers 2 shelves storage under the bench seats/double bed and a huge boot under the kids bed. Has a rhino roof rack too.
