Part service history – last service was completed 14,000 miles ago & included the cambelt replacement.

Smooth and reliable engine – never had any problems
As it is the blue 136 model it is has slightly better MPG than other Crafters and averaged around 32mpg on my last trip.
Bodywork is in good condition but has a few little scratches & dents as expected with the age. No rust or anything like that.
The van was owned by a diamond mining company and then sold to a train engineer who fitted solar panels, plug sockets, a fridge etc.
This is my lovingly converted off grid VW Crafter campervan. With its black paintwork and black wheels it definitely looks quite dominant on the road. However it is also quite stealthy so blends in to non campervan friendly areas well and being MWB it fits in normal size parking spaces which is a bonus. It also has a large roof rack and a tow bar!
In contrast the inside is very homely and welcoming. I like my vans to be stunning inside while also being completely unique and this is no exception. The farmhouse style interior adds warmth and makes you feel like your in a cosy cottage or pub which is perfect when you have been outside hiking all day. I am always getting compliments on the interior and my friends, who are obsessed with my van, are always asking to come over just to hang out in it.
I will run you through the different features of my campervan.
Kitchen:
2 burner gas hob – runs off camping gaz which is kept in a gas locker. I have installed this so that it will pass a gas safe check (needed if the buyer wants to rent it out).
Sink with powerful tap.
Large fridge.
Large work top area.
Lots of kitchen cupboard space.
Seating area:
The seating area can fit 8 people!
There is also a dining table that can be installed in less than 10 seconds.
Beds:
The table and another wooden panel are placed in between the two seats to make one big bed that can sleep up to 3 people.
Curtains are blackout.
Storage:
Huge storage areas under both seats.
Long overhead storage cupboard.
Cupboards under the work top.
Roof rack.
Electrics:
The electrics were professionally fitted.
2 leisure batteries.
4 USB sockets.
Inverter with normal 240v plug sockets.
Led spotlights
2 large solar panels and split charge relay mean the leisure batteries get charged without ever needing to connect to mains. This also means the fridge can be left on throughout your trip.
Heating:
Diesel heater with remote control.
Windows:
2 opening skylights with fly covers & black out blinds.
1 privacy glass side window that you can slide open.
1 large bulkhead window.
Other bits:
The van is insulated with a combination of celotex, recycled plastic insulation and aluminium foil insulation.
The stereo has aux, Bluetooth and a CD player.
There is also a subwoofer behind the seat but I have never checked if it works or not but could be a bonus if you’re a music fan.
There is also a new unused portable toilet.
The seating area can be used as 2 individual beds or the table can be put between the beds to make one huge bed. This is 5 foot 9 wide and 6 foot long so it is big enough to sleep 3 people if they don’t mind it snug.
