I used to work in a company converting vans professionally, and know all the technical side of this. We did however prefer to use recycled and upcycled materials to do the conversion which was different from the vans i worked on, which may make it look very diy but all the technical aspects are good.
Some of the material on the seats have ripped due to the children using them as climbing frames. We used to have sheepskins covering them but it would need attention if you donยดt want to do that.
We have taken the mattresses and slats for our next adventure as we figured not everyone wants a 3 single beds in a row set up but it would fit any normal bed slats and mattresses.
It has a diesel heater which lorry drivers usually use in their cabins.
It currently holds a single mattress, but the space for beds is that of 3 single beds next to each other. We used to cosleep with our two young children in one huge bed that folded away and made space to play on the floor for the children.
