Beautifully converted 2000 Daihatsu Hijet Micro Camper
She’s One of a Kind completely hand built by me.
She is currently registered as a van but it’s possible to reregister this as a ca more if wanted.
The interior has been fully insulated, the floor and the walls for year round camping.
The walls are clad in pine cladding for a rustic cabin look and painted off white for a more modern look.
The bench seat slides out to form a size small bed. Just about large enough for two individuals if required. The bed is made from comfortable high density foam.
Under the bed is accessible by three cupboard drawers.
There is a portable toilet in one of the cupboards. The centre cupboard is for storage and the last cupboard stores the battery and solar electrics.
The kitchen area boasts a very clever CAN single burner hob which folds into a sink completely out of the way leading more workspace when the kitchen is out of use,
The sink has a pressured tap supplied by a pump which dispenses cold water. Under the sink are two containers for fresh and waste water, easily accessible.
There is plenty of storage under the kitchen. There is room for a small gas bottle under the kitchen (not supplied).
The fabrics are fire retardant velvet and the covers are removable for washing.
There are four warm spot light in the ceiling, operated by a single switch set into the wall of the van.
The solar system is a basic 50W Renogy system hooked up to a leisure battery. The solar unit under the bed has two USB ports for charging a phone etc.
All furniture in the van is easily removable by screws should the battery, or engine/gearbox compartments need to be accessed for servicing.
There is a roof rack for extra storage or a surfboard etc!
Any AA inspection welcome, she is a great condition vehicle.
