Subaru Sambar Romahome
This is a 660cc petrol engine and a 4WD. MOT runs until February 2025. Overall the bodywork is good for a vehicle of this age, odd age related marks but nothing overly noticeable. This was a Japanese import and so the speedo reads in Km. For ease , the MOT does specify in miles. Vehicle first registered in August 1996.
We purchased this in February for my Dad but soon after realised that his mobility isn’t good enough for him to manage it and so we need to look at other options. When we got it we did however start to improve it for him and so the electrics inside are all completely new. The electric hook up is also new and we have put brand new lights on the back of the vehicle. The leisure battery charges only from external hook up, I do have a brand new split charger if you purchase and want to add this in yourself. I replaced the foot pump with an electric pump to make life easier, this also means now that a portable loo can fit in the cupboard under the sink, cold running water is just a simple button operation now. All water pipes have been replaced with new and the filler cap on the back of the vehicle is brand new and lockable. I can’t vouch for the fridge and cooker, the gas bottle was empty and I haven’t been able to try them. The inside of the front cab is in great condition for its age and the vehicle runs well although, again we have barely used it. V5 is currently away at DVLA as I have asked for it to be changed to reflect status as campervan.
Overall it is a very tidy Romahome, it just needs someone to personalise it and use it.
The seating converts into a full width bed big enough to sleep two.
The contact details for this vehicle are no longer available because it has either sold or the listing has expired.
Insurance options are available through our partner, Ripe Insurance.
