1992 VW T4 SWB
Quick sale needed as moving abroad on the 3rd March!! Volkswagen Transporter (T4) Campervan 1992 – 1.9ltr engine – Diesel – Manual – 174000 miles (still in use!) does about 30 – 35 mpg. Reg is J851 AWF.
Unfortunately I’m having to part with my beloved van due to moving overseas, at short notice! I’ve loved this van, and it shows in its upkeep and maintenance. She’s been my ‘campervan life’ hobby for the last 3 years.
Has been stored in a Dry Storage parking for whole time I’ve had her – she’s been all over Wales and South-East Uk, and all the way to FINLAND and back! Which shows how reliable and comfortable she is. MOT completed until August 24. Have done a pre-MOT check and she is good to go.
Runs lovely and starts every time – has been well looked after with vehicle maintenance – and did above and beyond what she needed for the Finland trip to make sure she was in a good place. Full service history. She does need a new Instrument Cluster at some point (Common fault with these older vans – I’ve found a repair man to do it, just haven’t got round to it!), but this has no effect mechanically or on the way she drives! Just simply sends the dials on the dash a little wobbly sometimes haha.

Has been very well looked after with rust prevention – stored in dry storage, and I’ve constantly kept her topped up with Kurust treatment – she’s very tidy! Has had a whole drivers step welded and repainted for upgrading. Only area that may need treating again over the next few years is passenger side step.

DAB radio with Aux and USB plug in, connected to speakers throughout living compartment too!
Split relay fitted so you can live off grid & wild camp.
My favourite part! This van conversion was redone in the early 2000’s, and has been kept in great condition since. I’ve reupholstered the interior and fitted new curtains too – which is what gives her the pop! Features:

Very comfortable Rock’n’Roller bed – 115cm x 190cm. Partner’s a 6ft rugby player and we did 2 weeks to Finland and back comfortably!
Reupholstered the interior in 2021, so put extra cushioning in the bedding – a very good sleep!
Up top can also sleep 2 people with 125cm in width – comes with all the bedding cushions. However, we’ve never used them as we enjoy the luxury of being able to stand up in the van and have all the head space, and storage space too!
