Renault Traffic/ Opel Arena
1999 Opal/Vauxhall Arena. Manual. 125,000 miles. Diesel 1.9 ltr engine.
Converted mini bus into camper van. MOT until May 2024.
Including: rhino roof rack, 2 x 120W solar panels, 2x 105 amp leisure batteries, 12V fridge, 240V hookup, double gas stove, sink, Vango inflatable awning, roof box, can go completely off grid. We drove it to the southern tip of Portugal and back last autumn with no problems. Has proven to be a great little surf bus. Reluctant sale but a change in circumstances has lead to us selling our gorgeous little home. Some rust here and there but given the age of the vehicle is overall in good nic. With plenty of character and little quirks, we’d love for its new owner to give it as much love as we have, and enjoy many more adventures.
Was already bought converted, using caravan units. We had the cieleing cladded by a proffesional carpeneter and electrics checked and solar panals fitted by professional electrician. Plenty of storage in shelves, cupboards, draw and more storage inside the benches. Extra external storage available with roof box and roof rack: we treated this as our garage with awning and outdoor equipment in, and 3 surfboards on the roof rack and shortboard strapped to the cieleing of the van.
Can either be slept in width ways or length ways mainly depending on height. Table and bench seats make up the bed as seen in pictures – table sinks down and bench cushions slide across, additional small folding table with cushions make up the end of the bed. Sleeps my girlfirend and I very comfortably length ways, I’m 6ft and she’s 5″7.
