The Van was converted with an emphasis on sleeping comfortably and using the awning as a living space. The awning unzips in seconds allowing you to drive away leaving the awning securely in place.
We have carried 2 x fully inflated 3m paddle boards inside the van or 2 x mountain bikes on ceiling hooks.
Internally the van is designed to be as comfortable a bed space as possible with 1.9m x 1.6m raised frame with 100mm cushion mattresses. The frame folds in half when travelling to provide extra storage on one side, and a sofa seat on the other.
There are no heavy wooden cupboards taking up space and decreasing the MPG, instead we rely on practical netting and cubby hole

Windows have been restricted to 2 x 16β rectangular porthole fittings to keep thermal insulation to a maximum. These allow airflow when required.
Interior of van fitted with a layer of sound insulation followed by Dodo thermal liner covered with 9mm ply and finished with 4 way stretch carpeting.
Ceiling has hooks fitted to support 2 x bikes for transportation.
