VW T6.1 Highline Kombi T32 150PS 6 Speed
VW T6.1 Highline Kombi T32 so plenty of load capacity, 2l diesel with 150HP and 6 speed manual gearbox. As it is the T32 it has upgraded front brakes, and in addition to the Highline specification it has heated front seats and windscreen. Also has heated rear window with wiper, and the tail gate gas struts have been upgraded so that it can lifted safely with the bike rack and two bikes. Two owners, I purchased it as used from an VW dealer and has been dealer serviced since new with FSH and MOT’d until December 2024, and in excellent condition in and out.
Fitted with Wolfhart Origin 18” Alloy wheels with 7mm front tread and 5mm rear tread.
Audio system upgraded with Apline speakers specifically designed for the T6.1 and the front doors have been sound proofed and also have acoustic insulation for a more comfortable driving and sound experience.
Is a a comfortable drive especially on long runs, where the adaptive cruise control really comes into it’s own. Fuel consumption is good, and have achieved 570 miles on a full tank, but mixed driving I average 450 miles per tank, and it is ULEZ compliant so can go anywhere.
The rear seats, flooring and paneling of this T6.1 Kombi were removed completely before the sides were fully sound insulated, insulation liner pro and then 50mm insulation fleece. This was then covered with a vapour barrier and then new ply lining. The floor has Dodo Duo sound and insulation and then a 12mm ply floor, covered in Lino for an easy to clean finish.
The poptop, bed board, carpet lining and the RIB was installed by a Sheffield based converter before the rest of the interior was fitted out.
The interior as well as the RIB slider bed, comprises Van Furniture supplied kitchen and wardrobe until with overhead cupboards, made from 15mm HPL ply laminate. There is a Dometic 2 ring hob and sink, a 50litre fridge with freezer compartment, a 20 litre internal water container with tap activated pump. (We chose the internal water storage as we planned to use the camper all year round and didn’t want the problem with frozen water). There is a gas safe with safety regulator and emergency cut out.
The leisure battery electrics is based on a 95AH AGM battery under the drivers seat, that is charged via either; a Victron DC:DC converter, a Victron 230 volt charger, or 160watt solar panel and Victron MPPT solar charger, and has a battery monitor and battery protect units to ensure maximum performance and to protect the battery from being discharged. This is all controlled and monitored via the Victron connect app on your smart phone. This powers the fridge, water pump, lighting, 4 xUSB and 2x 12v accessories sockets in the rear of the van.
112mm wide RIB slider bed, with two seat belts and Isofix mounting points for child seats, and M1 certified mounting for safety. Plus a bed board with memory foam mattress in the poptop for two.
