Ooooh, she’s a Beast!
Rough and tough looking on the outside, indulge your love of a nomadic boho lifestyle inside. The Beast introduced us to campervanning, and we loved it so much, we went bigger – so it’s time for someone else to enjoy the Beast.
A fixed double bed with Emma mattress gives you a comfortable night’s sleep. (Has always had a mattress protector kept on it, so fresh as new for it’s new owner) Beside the custom made bookshelf, there’s a convenient laptop shelf hidden behind a custom made pinboard covered in vintage fabric. The headboard is covered in the same vintage fabric, and above the bed is ample storage. Underneath the double bed there is a large garage for storage. Beside the bed is a usb plug to charge your phone, and above the bed is a large opening skylight with built in roller blind and insect screen.
The kitchen is made from a vintage Welsh dresser, providing ample storage, and fitted with a beautiful sink imported from Morocco which is fed with water stored in the garage, using the water pump. A two burner hob is fed from the butane bottle stored in the cupboard underneath. Above the counter are two sockets for charging, appliances, etc. On the roof you’ll find the solar panels and under the seating you will find ample leisure batteries (we managed four full days off grid recently with the brand new fridge keeping our food lovely and cold)
In the shower room there is a chemical toilet conveniently seated a nice height for your comfort on a custom made base.
Seating is positioned to enjoy the view through the side door, while both large windows have full custom vintage fabric blinds for privacy at night. There is even more storage above the seating and a removable, multi positionable table gives you a convenient place for your cup of coffee or plate of food cooked on the hob while enjoying the great outdoors. 🙂
In the front of the van you will find three seats, the split being the driver’s seat, and two seater, which is mounted on a swivel plate, providing extra seating once you’ve “set up camp”.
She’s got just under 130k on the clock, and we’ve spent thousands at garage ensuring she is safe to drive and she has an MOT to the end of December. We see no reason she won’t pass her next MOT. The beast has enjoyed trips all over the UK and is ready for more adventure.
