Things to note:
-Super low mileage for a van this age. It really has never missed a beat. It’s nippy on country roads and I’ve seen it get 55mpg on long drives which with todays fuel prices is a god send!
-We worked really hard to insulate every little bit of the van in the early stages so it’s really warm in winter and stays cool in the summer, we’ve slept in it in -7 in the Cairngorm mountains this year!
-The sliding bed is great, we made it with 250kg rated drawer slides so it doesn’t need any legs for support at all, it was great for saving extra space!
-The battery system is super efficient, we’ve stayed away for over a week at times before and it never dropped too low once. The fridge being the real hero of this setup!
-An insane amount of storage! I can’t stress enough every cabinet and bit of wood is cut with millimetres in mind to really get the most out of such a small space! There is loads of room for 2 adults and a little one.
A super comfy pull out sofa double bed! Memory foam cushions. We designed the bed to totally load bearing on 250kg rated drawer slides. This saves on weight and space in the living area! The bed also lifts up on hinges to access storage.
The pop roof also has a double bed that can be lowered when required, it is rated for 150kg so definitely good for 1 adult or maybe 2 small kids!
