An extraordinary 2 berth campervan located 10 minutes from Kendal. Bespoke, unique and lovingly handcrafted, this beautiful and practical camper has been one of the most successful Quirky Campers rentals of the 2021-2023 seasons, and is now ready for a new home as either a continued rental van or a private van to enjoy at your leisure.
After those 2 very busy years of rental Toots is now undergoing some maintenance and refurbishment ready for sale. Overall both the van and the conversion are in excellent condition with some small signs of use as to be expected.
Tom, the current owner and converter of the van has made excellent use of the space, with a 2 tier design, so all your clothes, food and essentials can be neatly stored away in drawers and cupboards. Yet there’s still plenty of room to store large items such as wellies, walking boots, camping table and chairs in the underfloor and garage storage areas. Measuring at 5.4 metres long Toots is small enough for a relaxed driving experience, yet big enough to provide you with comfortable living space.
Toot’s dining area includes a large L shaped sofa and oak pull-out dining table. Fold the table down and the sofa pulls out to make a full size memory foam double bed. Solid oak worktops, 2 hob gas burners, and indoor refrigerator fridge with an in-built freezer makes up Toots versatile and adaptable kitchen space.
Toots has everything you need to travel off-grid in style, including solar power, indoor wet room with toilet and basic shower, and a diesel heater to keep you toasty and warm through the winter months. The shower can be moved outside to wash off your muddy dogs and bikes.
As part of the sale Toots will include all optional extras that are used as part of the hire process, including all kitchen equipment, camping table and chairs, bedding, pillows, towels, portable/emergency gas hob, water storage bottles and even the ukulele featured in the photos!
