This carefully converted camper “Franny the Vanny” is ready for your post lockdown adventure! It’s a stunning little camper, in excellent condition. It’s very compact (originally a MPV) meaning it can be used as your second car rather than a vehicle that only leaves home for holidays; it is easy to drive and park. It has four seat belts.
The living facilities are perfect for two adults. The curtains are all fully lined with black fabric and seat covers are overlocked and machine washable. The mattress is made from luxury firm sofa foam and is very comfortable. The kitchen is accessed via the rear door which provides shelter while you cook. There is plenty of storage space with drawer for your kitchen equipment and a cabinet within the bench. The kitchen is fitted with a twin burner gas hob running on Camping Gaz. The gas cylinder is included in the sale and is housed in a secure metal gas locker. It also has a mini-fridge, which is powered by the leisure battery and solar panels. The camper has plenty of storage boxes for your bedding and clothes, plus space for outdoor chairs (one included) and the table.
A solar panel on the roof charges a 75Ah leisure battery which powers the following: two cigarette lighter sockets; four USB sockets; a mini fridge; two LED down lighters above the kitchen and a string of lights inside the van which give an amazing effect at night! There is also the option of mains hook up (15m cable supplied) which powers a double 13 amp socket and a 500W slimline heater enabling the van to be used all year round. When connected to mains hook up an onboard battery charger takes over charging the leisure battery. The camper also has air conditioning, heating, reversing sensors and a Dbuilt in radio.
I’ve been the keeper since July 2019, when I purchased it from a couple in Bristol who had originally imported it from Japan and built it out. She’s been incredibly well taken care of (I’ve never had a mechanical issue) and taken me on many a wonderful adventures around the UK. I’m only selling it because I live in London and with the new ULEZ rules it’s become quite expensive to keep her in the city, especially as my adventures are few and far between now. I did van life full time for almost two years back in America and this is the third van I’ve owned… definitely the best build I’ve had yet!
