(they’re called this because it’s not obvious its a Camper van so you can park on roads and not have to pay £30 a night for the privilege, I’ve never been stopped from doing this, although technically you’re not supposed to without the permission of the land owner)

I have just dropped the price as I need to sell it now. If you were get a company to build this van for you with the same spec it would cost £55k plus

Hi, I am selling my lock down project, after scouring the internet for months getting ideas i designed what i still believe to be the best use of space i’ve seen in any campervan. I was going to keep it and wanted it to be capable of going off grid and so bought the absolute best of every item and have receipts for over £11k worth of just parts , there’s a 120L water tank, a 130ah LiFePO4 lithium battery (£1200) and a Hi output solar panel. I fitted a 25L LPG tank underneath to save space and to keep you going for at least 2 weeks.I also wanted to be able to take away a family of four and most importantly to have enough space to all sit inside in comfort when its raining outside as it often does. I have been away for a couple of weekends and it meets all of my expectations. The amazing Truma combi 6E boiler (£1800) has a fully programmable thermostat to make sure its lovely and warm when you get back to the van. And it provides an instant hot shower thanks to its 10L hot water tank

Base Van
The van itself to buy is approximately £20k It’s got around 87k with full service history. When i bought it i gave it to Mercedes and they did everything that it could possibly need which cost me around £3k. It’s got new tyres, new brakes etc. The bodywork is great and it won’t need servicing for around 30,000 miles. It’s also ULEZ compliant which came in on a 66 plate. The governments are slowly trying to faze out older diesel vans and so you shouldn’t buy one that’s not.

Sleeping arrangements I am 6’3 and so the bed and head height had to be suitable for me. There is a fixed small double bed at the rear which is 120cm x 2000cm and the seating area pulls out to make another small double which is approximately 1150 x the width of the van

Shower room
The shower room is fully tiled, the shower itself is a Mira electric mixer shower(£300) which you just wave your hand in front of to turn on and off, it’s also got a timer so you can save water. Its fed by the amazing Truma combi 6E boiler (£1800) which provides an instant hot shower thanks to its 10L hot water tank. The toilet is a ceramic Thetford mains water flushing toilet (£550) which is brand new and never been used.

Kitchen Area
Its a fully functioning kitchen with plenty of space, a Gas Hob, a really good Gas oven and the most efficient Isotherm fridge/freezer i could find
The sink has hot and cold water too!

Heating and ventilation
There is a Truma combi 6E boiler which blows warm air throughout via 4 outlets to front and rear.
There are two electric remote control fans in the roof with the option to reverse the polarity at the touch of a button so in the summer you have one pulling air in and the other out to create a really cool comfortable space. The insulation works so well that it doesn’t get too hot in there during the summer anyway !

Solar
The solar panel itself is very high output which is transformed down to using a Victron controller in order to charge the battery. There is a digital panel inside on the wall behind the TV plus an app on your phone which gives real time data on the current being generated by the solar panel, how much energy you’re using and how much charge there is in the battery so you won’t run out while you’re in the shower or the kids are watching Netflix on the TV

Music and TV
I added a Pioneer stealth system to the front cabin which looks like its cheap when the screen is hiding but when its out you can connect your phone to it and you have Sat Nav and CarPlay etc. Theres also a sub woofer under the seat so it sounds amazing for those long journeys.
There’s a smart TV in the rear so you can connect to any wifi or your phone and watch whatever you like.

Storage Areas
There is so much space to store stuff you won’t believe it. Under the seat in the drivers cabin, a huge area under the bench seating. All the kitchen cupboards/drawers, another large cupboard under the bed accessible from the cabin and the the storage under the bed from the rear is so large i currently have a bike an electric scooter a large bbq/fire pit and two big camping chairs. There is other space that can be configured or converted if you wanted more but i though that was enough.

If you are a serious buyer please contact me for a viewing. This will be held at a secure site, Thanks
