2014 Ford Transit Jumbo 350 L4 H3
MTB Weekender Dream Van Conversion!!
For sale is our van conversion, designed specifically for weekend mountain bike adventures. The bones are a Ford Transit Jumbo 350 TDCI 2.2 Mk8. There are 118,000 miles on the clock, however the engine, clutch, and all ancillaries were all replaced at 106,000. With a new MOT and regular service intervals it is running smooth as butter and is an incredibly reliable machine ready to tackle the biggest of road trips.
The van is fully fitted with the following:
– Full size double bed.
– Kitchen unit with incredible amounts of storage for kit
– Double benches either side with custom made suede cushions with additional storage space. Potentially for a camping toilet or fridge depending on need.
– 12v circuit with 265ah battery system – Maxx Air 2 fan, indoor lighting, 5kw diesel heater, double USB phone charging, garage lights, outdoor LED spotlight, reading light. Split charger system in place to keep the batteries topped up whilst driving.
– 240v system in place – double 3 pin plug in kitchen unit, and double 3 pin plug in garage for charging e-bikes etc. 240v system only operational if plugged into shore power. Options available to add in an inverter.
– We purposely left out a fitted hob or sink – the van was designed for weekend use, so we use a camping stove to cook if required. Electrics are in place for these utilities though if you wanted these.
– Havelock Wool insulation – naturally breathing and wicking to prevent rust.
– Garage has mounts for 4 bikes and ample space for extra kit i.e. paddleboard, riding kit, surfboard etc.
– Van comes with Worx Hydroshot 2 (56 bar) jet washer and 20l water tank for cleaning down bikes etc.
– Mechanically the van is in fantastic condition both on the inside and outside and aesthetically the same. There are a few odd light paint scratches and very small, almost unnoticeable dents – for a 14 reg plate van it is looking fantastic.
