Conversion Description

Price massively reduced to £29,700 for a quick sale.
Meet Jak, our newly converted VW T6 Kombi. This is the forth camper we have sold through Quirky and the 6th one in total. We are not dealers or traders just camper fans. Jak is Lisa’s van which tows our new caravan. We have lived full-time in campers for the last 7 years, in Fiat Ducatos and sold our last one, Jourgie just before Christmas, hence now in a caravan. We have now newly converted Jak with a view to building another larger van when Jak is sold. If you wish to see our previous vans, please let us know and we’ll find the links.
The main reason we achieve such premiums is we only use quality woods, insulation, and electronics. Each van is totally unique. You won’t find another like this one.

As we are now experts at off-grid and stealth camping Jack comes with features that you’d expect, but some you wouldn’t:

1st of all we decided to keep the Kombi seats, so that we can transport the grand-kids when necessary. The pictures show the 2 seater rear seat, but a 3rd is available (and included) in storage though. The seats will fold down for more space, or can be removed totally. One of our main assets in designing our vehicles is making maximum use of space. Jak is no exception. He comes with a top of the range Renogy battery to battery charger and solar power converter. Hidden out of sight, but available. The 100ah lithium battery is more than capable of powering the van for decent periods. We just spent 4 days off-grid with no issues, but if you want to go further then the included 160watt portable and folding solar panel from Ecoflow will keep you going. The minute you start driving the Renogy takes over the charging to keep you topped up. We’ve included a 1000 watt pure-sine wave inverter which powers the dimmable led lighting and 24inch Samsung smart tv, plus the straighteners and hairdryers if needed.
Keeping you toasty when it’s chilly outside is the excellent Autoterm diesel heater with timer and thermostat remote. We have used these in the last 4 vehicles and they are superb, but not cheap. The rear and side windows are covered with the superb Van-X double lined insulating curtains. Keeping the van cool in sun and warmer in cool times. The front cab comes with the Van Pimps window curtain kit, which creates a really cosy van at night time. We’ve also added the Van Pimps wind deflectors, which lets you crack the windows open a little at night when it’s hot. They also look cool too.
The front seats are on swivel plates to create a really functional living or dining area, with tables – all removable – to cater for 4 or 5. The rear seats fold flat if they’re not needed or if you want to transport some extra large items. There is a simple storage system under the rear seats also. These seats are also completely removable creating massive space up front.
Making maximum use of space we have gone with a rear versatile lounge system in the rear. This houses the cooking system, portable water supply and folding sink, all on a slide out at the rear of the van. We added a folding table plus the ability to use the front interior table and use it outside. You can see this on the pics.
The rear lounge can be used as 2 individual beds or a huge double bed. We tend to leave the bed in place most of the time, but when you just want to sit and chill or watch tv the lounge works well. The to bracket extends so you can get a real cinema experience. We’ve managed to squeeze in some extra cupboard space for all kind of storage, plus storage under the rear seating also. Also under there is the excellent Outdoor Revolution simple drive-away awning, and two folding chairs. A real Tardis. The awning has only been used once. The drive away awning could be used with an extra inner tent if you’re transporting your children or grand children, or you can easily convert the front seats to accept one or two child beds. Just search for VW T6 child beds for lots of options. Oh and for those important moments there is a tiny Thetford portapotty included (new of course).
As we had a tow-bar fitted and love cycling we invested in a superb tow-bar bike rack to carry our folding electric bikes. These could be available by separate negotiation if required, but happy to keep them too 🙂

We’ll be making a few more tweaks to improve on access to storage but basically you’ll have a brand new conversion. We will invest in a professional valet before you take ownership.

We know the new owners will be more than pleased with Jack, but please don’t hesitate to message if you have any questions.
